We have all voted for you to put that ESC under the scope and brink it back to life. Who knows, it could be just a little resistor that might've moved a bit. Show us your Doctor skills John lol.

Hey at least you have top notch customer service team available to get that esc warranty taken care of! Seriously , when i talked with them, they had 2 questions, and had offered me a replacement before i even asked. Probably the best in the industry, and a shinning example of how to operate.

The portable soldering ironn you have i also have. There is a firmware hack you can do that will let you take it all the way up to 450°C. Ive been solely using it for around 2 years now. It'll solder everything you need.

I Bricked one of the v3 with a small solder ball that ran for it's life. Sad day for me, valuable lesson i guess.

Toss that iron in a bag for emergency use only I use a simple analog Tk 950. Plenty of thermal... and it doesn't break the bank.

One diode wrong or bad resistor could cause it to a lot of factors when I comes to a micro computer. Not like troubleshooting other electrical issues and circuits.

And is there not a way to check voltage to the motor without having to unsolder it? Like if the esc was sending out beeps couldn't a meter pick it up?

the tip must be the size of the cable you solder or desolder. a flat tip would be better for that job + the time it takes heats the components , never a good thing .

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant problem with one of your Crawlmaster v2 ESCs, after various studies I found a flash on the central mosfet. I contacted your assistance attaching the photos on 01/09/24 but I have not yet received a response. can you help me? thanks Jacopo Damonte
