Well, there are multiple reasons. One reason is because of international sanctions on Russia, Gonzalo would have lost access to the money he has in Western banks, so he would have been penniless and broke in Russia. Second, there is no safe access from Ukraine to Russia, he would have had to go from Ukraine to Poland and from Poland to Estonia and from Estonia to Russia, but when he was arrested the first time in 2022, he lost the ability to leave Ukraine because his name was entered in a database where his passport would have shown as restricted when scanned at the border. He was not allowed to leave Ukraine after his first arrest in April 2022. He should have left Ukraine the moment the invasion started, tbh.

In fact, that's why he got kicked out of his hotel room on February 26, 2022. The Hotel Manager saw the Russian broadcast and immediately told him to get his stuff and leave! That really got to Gonzalo, he almost cried while telling the story in his video. He got noticed alright! 🙂

As we speak, I'm working on chapter 02 of my main project. Every time I go through the number of lies Gonzalo has said in order to make a profit, I get a sense of relief knowing that he's behind bars. As a matter of fact, Gonzalo once told Sargon of Akab in a text message "Honesty is a strategy". Gonzalo has no integrity, and is hard for me to sympathize with a man who has no integrity. I may be righteous, but I'm far from being a saint, so is hard for me to forgive a singer like him.😔
