Hello, thank you for checking back on my channel! I've been trying to put out a video for the last two weeks, but I keep adding stuff up and taking stuff out! But as soon as I get it out, I'm gonna work on a video on my opinion about Gonzalo's funeral. I've been trying to work on that, but I felt I needed to let some time pass before I could comment on it, you know, out of respect for the family. And to be honest, the war on Ukraine is everything I follow on KZfaq, so I think I'm gonna keep making videos related to that but with the twist of how it affects us in America and why it is important not to ignore it. Thanks again for commenting on my video! Cheers! 😇

Yeah, and yet he had to pay call girls for sex and his family left him because he was an abusive father. Let that sink in. He was a hypocrite and a liar because the same "insights about women" he promoted led him to die alone in a foreign land. Just take a step back and think about it.

Most of that "pot full of money" stays here in America. We give them "money" that "they" use by "buying" American weapons. Ukrainians don't get money, "they" get weapons. American manufacturing companies get the money so that American factories manufacture NEW weapons! It is such a shame that a foreigner has to educate you on how the American Military Complex works. sad... (it's actually not sad, is funny to see a @calwianka getting educated)

Also, while the guy that set himself on fire was probably pretty mentally ill by the sounds of it, the thing that is darkly humorous, ironic, and sad to me is that the media told us all that Trump is literally the second coming of Hitler for the last decade or so, and that he was brought to power through an alliance with the Kremlin and wanted to establish a fascist autocracy. And then when this dude ACTUALLY BELIEVES WHAT THEY TOLD US, they call him a "mad conspiracy theorist". Just goes to show how dangerous Trump Derangement Syndrome can be. And also, never trust or believe journos when they push some sensationalist bullshit. Trump is a heel and Zionist stooge, not a fascist. At least the media is sort of tacitly admitting they made up all that crap about Trump being a Nazi dictator now. Too bad the minds of the average people with TDS are too compartmentalized to realize the contradiction here.

On the face of it, Trump supporters being pro-Z and anti-Ukraine makes no sense. How short the collective memory span of a society is... Do they not realize Putin was a KGB agent? Do they think Putin conveniently had a change of heart when the USSR fell? He called the fall of the Soviet Union the worst tragedy of the 20th century. It is hilarious to me that they seriously believe a dyed-in-the-wool imperialist, Eurasianist, neo-Soviet revanchist is somehow a defender of Christian values. Hell, Russia itself is hardly a bastion of Christianity or family values. It has all of the same foibles as the West and some we don't even have like the lack of plumbing, electricity, and modcons in the less developed parts of the vast country. There's a reason Russian soldiers from the Central Asian part of the country were stealing toilets and washers and dryers and whatnot from Ukrainian houses to take back home with them. Russia is hardly the nation we should be looking up to or emulating, even if your chief concerns are defending conservative values and Western traditions. What Putin and his fellow Siloviki have done to the Russian Orthodox Church is appalling, installing the corrupt Patriarch Kirill to act as their man in the religious establishment. He is no man of God, he is an avaricious wolf in sheep's clothing, and so it Putin. And seeing a video of an orthodox priest splashing holy water on a bust of Stalin that they had just installed made me want to puke. Since Putin came to power, nearly one hundred monuments to Stalin have been raised around the country, the school history class curriculum was changed and textbooks were swapped out to erase all mentions of the Great Purge and the Holodomor and all of the crimes committed by the Red Army and the chekists, and he has criminalized talking about the crimes the Red Army committed, calling it "rehabilitation of the Nazi image" or something because apparently any mention of the wrongs committed by the Soviets implies you think the Nazis were good. Whether your values are right wing from a Christian perspective or right wing from a Pagan perspective, there really shouldn't me anything to love about Putin aside from one singular act, the banning LGBT propaganda thing, which he probably did specifically to court the right wingers of the West. Is that really a good reason to ignore and even cheer on his efforts to conquer Ukraine that have caused the needless deaths of countless people? It just shows a totally out-of-whack set of priorities. I mean, if you couldn't tell, I'm not exactly a left winger myself (though I don't call myself "right wing" either, even if most leftists probably would, but I'm not tied down to the either half of the left-right dichotomy, like I engage with issues individually rather than picking a side and following their lead when making decisions, but if I had to categorize myself I would say I am a Perennialist communitarian) but I am pro-Ukraine and I feel like our dissenting voices are drowned out by the pro-Putin part of the right. I think a major part of the problem is a complete emotional disconnect from the horrors of war. For a lot of these pro-Z Westerners, their only experiences with war are through fiction, so a war in a far-off country is just like a video game to them on an emotional level. This same problem exists amongst some Ukraine supporters as well, to be fair, like when they used to show videos of tanks getting hit with javelins or whatever back before the ban on showing warfare unless you are in the media. I know it is necessary to defend their homeland since Russian troops will not leave peacefully, but I still hate seeing lives go to waste like that for a bunch of monstrous siloviki and oligarchs. I mourn the deaths of every decent young man forced into this pointless war. We should always keep in mind that these images of war are showing real people with families, and even if we hate the invasion, many of the invaders themselves are drafted and terrified and low on supplies and I am just sickened by all of it as Putin smugly sits there on a pile of blood-drenched gold. My theory about men like Putin is that they aren't truly motivated by some kind of deep-seated convictions and consistent ideology. Putin has a cult of personality, but it is hollow, it doesn't contain any real information about his vision for Russia or the world, it's just "Look, Putin strong! He strong leader!" Putin's regime doesn't really stand for anything but perpetuating its own existence. Putin strikes me as a cold and calculating tactician with icewater in his veins and a set of gears and cogs where his heart should be, the kind of man the KGB would hire because he is totally devoid of moral scruples and will do anything to advance his position, just like a certain other Russian leader Putin happens to admire, good ol' Joe Steel. I believe that those at the highest echelons of power are, more often than not, cynical puppet masters that propagate a particular ideology (which may morph with the times as needed to maintain popularity and ideological hegemony) not because they actually believe it but because it is useful to them, useful for maintaining power. If I had to guess, I would say that Putin probably cares little for the future of Russia after his death, save for considerations about his legacy.

I agree 1,000% with everything you said. And just to add to your statement regarding your surprise of the support Russia is getting from the MAGA faction. It all comes from the support Trump got from Putin at the beginning of his presidential campaign of 2016. Trump groomed his followers to support Russia no matter what. There is a book called “The Road to Unfreedom” by Timothy Snyder that explains into more detail the connections between Trump and Russia. Timothy Snyder is the guy who debunked Moscow Marjorie on the video. It is a very good book. Thank you for your insightful comment.😇

@@Mkbshg8 I honestly believe that Gonzalo Lira had delusions of grandeur. In my opinion, he wanted to become some type of cult leader back when he started his "Project Maiham" stunt. Of course, he's on video claiming that he has never wanted to become famous, but that was just another lie. He was an attention whore who loved lecturing others as if he was an authority. This is why I believe he made the decision to stay in Ukraine instead of fleeing for his own safety. Gonzalo Lira believed that he had the support of hundreds of thousands of pro-Russia people that would cause trouble for Ukraine if the government ever put him behind bars. Oh, also, that TheGamerFromMars video is good. I never got to the point of investigating the "Project Maiham" stunt because most of it, is archived in the Kiwi Farms website. Most of my research comes from the documented records he had in the Public Library of Chile, and those records only have documents up to 2003-05. Project Maiham was in 2021, so there's almost a ten-year gap in between. Those are the years when he tried to pass as an Economist Blogger. I was actually doing research chronologically, so I was stuck investigating documents between 2003 and 2011, and that's he he died, so I never got to the time when he did that tooth-pick on locks stunt. One last thing, TheGamerFromMars made several mistakes in his video. Gonzalo Lira was strange to his wife and kids, so when he died, they were not really that impacted by his absence because he wasn't living with them anymore. Yes, he may have visited his kids now and then, but according to his ex-wife on the divorce documents, he was abusive to them because he had anger management issues. So, in my opinion, they are better off without him. The guy was a shitty person, I have no doubt about it, that's why I always make the same claim "Burn in Hell Gonzalo Lira", and I stand by my beliefs. Hell, the people who support him and wish him to "Rest in Peace" either are hypocrites because they know what he did and they don't care, or just don't know who he really was. But, then again, if they wanted to educate themselves they could watch my videos instead of living in ignorance believing that Gonzalo deserves to rest in peace. Either way, Gonzalo Lira deserves to burn in hell. Thank you for your comments! 😇

So let me explain myself. My objective was to destroy any possible chance of the survival of any legacy left by Gonzalo Lira. This is the opposite of what you seem to be trying to do, which is to sustain it and maybe even make it grow. But I'm no longer worried about it!, Do you know why? Because Gonzalo Lira is slowly disappearing from the public consciousness! Little by little, people are moving on with their lives and forgetting anything about Gonzalo "The Grifter" Lira! People are not longer caring! Look at your channel! There is not a single video with more than one thousand views! Hell, most of the videos in your channel pick at 250, or 300 views because people don't care! I love it, Gonzalo Lira is slowly fading away because people don't care! So here is what I have to do to make sure Gonzalo Lira is completely gone. All I have to do is.... Stop making videos about Gonzalo Lira. HAHAHAHAHA! (evil laugh) That's right! Just stop and let it go away, that is all I have to do, do nothing! As we speak, I am in the process of making my new KZfaq channel, same branding, same name but new format. No more Gonzalo Lira... well, maybe a mention here and there, but something new and fun for me to work and grow. It feels good to move on, and to leave Gonzalo Lira fade away. And also, here is the thing. I can't stand watching his videos. I can't stand his voice or his face, that's why I am looking forward to move on, because I don't have to watch any more videos for research or work. I am free my dude! I am free and it feels good! @@factshunter187 Something that I've found that helps me when looking at Lira's various grifts is to compare him to people who are or were successful in what they do in order to gauge Lira's (awful) competence. Bill Cooper (RIP) apparently worked in naval intelligence, actually wrote AND publicly released a book (Behold a Pale Horse), predicted 9/11 months before it happened and died in a gunfight with police. Aaron Russo actually worked in the film industry becoming a millionaire from various genuine business interests and did television specials in the 90s warning people about tyranny. Russo was friends with particular members of the Rockefeller family, so Russo was in a position to know what was happening, and died from cancer. Webb, like Russo, also wrote articles on the illegal activities of intelligence organizations and died from "self-inflicted injuries". Assange was physically dragged by British police from the Ecuadorian embassy in 2019. Meanwhile, Lira smoked cigarettes in an apartment doing youtube videos with absolutely no prior research and when facing a possible prison sentence, fled on a motorcycle in an attempt to cross the border into another country while filming it only to be caught and detained all the while claiming to be a political prisoner. Go figure.

Never saw an open window or any type of ventilation pulling that smoke from his unit outside. I'm sure even if his neighbors knew nothing about him, happiness was abound since the cigarette smell was going away. I hope his old neighbors are better able to enjoy their lives without constant cigarette smoke coming into their homes. Very rude and inconsiderate to smoke that much inside a building- showed he lacked any empathy for others.

The fact that there are so many holes in the Ukrainian border makes this story even funnier. He unironically thought he could just go through border patrol and get right out. Bro, it's a European country, pretty sure there are a lot of ways to escape. Don't give me the I can't walk far talk either Gonzo cause you had nothing to lose anyway. Carlson and Putin's interview was considered a failure for Putin's war campaign because that was the moment for him when he could have convinced the Republican conservative party not to pass any more bills for U.S. assistance to Ukraine. He was supposed to convince the world not to support Ukraine by talking badly about Zelensky. Telling the world that they are ruthless Nazis, full of corruption and that the Russians are there to save the Russian-speaking Ukrainians who have been oppressed by puppet Zalensky. Putin was supposed to use the propaganda he created from the beginning of the invasion. He could have used Gonzalo as a martyr, the same way Carlson did, claiming that Zelensky is corrupt and evil because he killed Gonzalo just because he criticized his government. But, fortunately, Putin made another mistake and never mentioned Gonzalo's sacrifice for Mother Russia. Gonzalo's death was wasted by Putin.

10:00 --- That is an excellent theory and probably what happened. Also, more things that likely occurred too would be: a) in prison, if you accept any favors from other inmates, then they accrue *very heavy* interest! I watched a documentary in which a prisoner said that if you borrow a cigarette, then you might need to pay back $1,000 USD for it in order to settle the account. b) And that same guy also said: "if you don't have the cash, then you are still going to have to pay up, one way or another." So, most likely, Gonzo was being sexually violated by other inmates, because he couldn't pay the interest on his prison debts. That's the *real* reason why he fled the prison, I think. And he didn't tell his cultists that because he felt too ashamed to admit what really happened. Saying BS like his eye was scratched with a toothpick and he was punched in his sternum is much less embarrassing, so IMO that's why he went with those BS stories instead of the truth.

3:20 --- That highlighted text shows that the SBU and Ukrainian authorities were *overly generous* to Gonzo. By law, they *could have* confiscated his computers, cell phones, webcams, and also all of his other electronic devices. Yet they let him keep all of that after the first time he was arrested, because they were being *extra nice* to him.

He seemed to act like his life was a movie or something, prioritizing the theatrical fiction he was presenting to his fans over the very serious reality he was in, like for instance by spinning a tall tale about being tortured while actually being in the process of developing a deadly case of pneumonia, but he couldn't blame the pneumonia on Ukraine so he ignored it. He simultaneously didn't take the situation seriously enough and treated it like it was this monumental struggle, when really he was tilting at windmills.

Facts Hunter ~ I appreciate you doing research on Gonzalo Lira. From what I can see, he had multiple opportunities to escape going to a Ukrainian prison but for whatever reason, he chose to ignore these chances from the Ukrainian government. It appears Gonazalo treated women horribly and that had been going on for years. Yet when he, himself, was not treated well in jail, he never reflected on how he treated others. It was always about him. I would imagine Ukranian prisons are tough. There was no way he was going to survive (even under the best of conditions) given his health problems. I think the most interesting thing to me is that so many (predominately) young men worshipped him. I think it's a cautionary tale that you simply cannot believe everything that's told to you. I'm a woman and I initially watched his London videos. He was a very good speaker, which he was able to capitalize on. But when it became clear to me he was a misogynist, I stopped watching. With that said, some of his early videos (first two years) were quite good. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and to do all this research.

Thank you for your comment and for watching. I never watched any of his old videos because I only became aware of Gonzalo after he started making videos about the war. Then after I started watching videos about him, I became aware that he was a very profitable grifter. He was like a very good salesman. He was very good at charming a customer to sell his product, the problem is that he only used his skills for selfish goals. He could have been a good man, but he ended up being just a selfish fool. Thank you again for sharing.

Haha I remember one time Lira uploaded a video of him asking a scantily-clad Ukrainian escort to dance for him for the purpose of passing her off as his girlfriend to prove to the internet that he wasn't living in a hotel room alone in Ukraine. It was so cringe. He views women as sex objects and status symbols more than actual people. I remember in one video he says "Women are like dogs. You have to treat women like dogs..."...something something something. And he got in trouble at Dartmouth for a r@pe accusation against him by a fellow student.

@@factshunter187 If you are talking about his "Coach Red Pill" videos, I expect it was mostly young men that had figured out that the messaging they were getting from main stream media about women and dating was completely wrong. They stumbled onto someone who was saying something different, and different in a similar way that many other "Red Pill" men were talking. I never followed him back then. As time passed it turned out that the "Red Pill" community was stuffed with many people who have no clue what they are talking about and don't live the lives they say they do. There are a few the do. But your average young man lost in the main stream media bubble isn't going to be able to figure out who is actually giving good advice and who is not. They did use some of the similar attraction tactics but never went as far as to accuse feminists of trying to bring men down and stuff. You can tell Gonzalo was full of crap by watching that video "Women are like Dogs". The one positive that Gonzalo had was that he was able to string together a sentence. He was also able to string together a cohesive argument without sounding like a nut. Now his major draw back was that all of this was based on his self assessment that he "knows what he was talking about." From my perspective, he was interesting to figure out what a Russian political argument was. It was fun to watch and wait to see what if any of his predictions proved to be true. It was amazing. Gonzalo was so completely wrong about everything that he died.
