"Press Corner'' is our weekly Sunday chat about the highlights of the past week with our media colleagues in the heart of Europe.
A Polish judge with access to the country's military secrets fled to Belarus and asked for asylum on Monday. Despite his attempts to justify his decision with political convictions, the Polish authorities see his actions as espionage for a foreign state.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, meanwhile, concluded a five-day diplomatic tour of Europe. The visit was the leader's first to the region in five years and provided an opportunity to raise important issues regarding the country's relations with Russia and the Kremlin's war with Ukraine.

Why is it that only people with ties to formerly Soviet controlled countries seem to grasp the danger Russia has always posed?

And Czech people and many more former eastern block countries, there seems to be a refusal to except the madness that the Kremlin and Chinese propaganda brings, they have to live it to believe because of privilege and learns helplessness! The West have a problem! 🇨🇿🇦🇺🫡🇺🇦💙💛

What were those people doing that promoted him? How did such a person get to be a judge despite such poor judgement? I would investigate every single person that was his superior and let him rise through the ranks ever since graduating college...
