I wonder if they ever found what they wanted, or if they realised they'd have to significantly up their budget. I don't always understand the choice of houses shown, but in this case, ETTC was spot-on in the choices - every one of them. But this obsession with a large flat garden for playing football of future grandchildren who would only be there a few weeks per year at best...

House number one was awfully cluttered. I would have thought that when you wanted to sell you’d declutter to make it more appealing ! Just the same it’s a lovely home…

Too many holiday homes here in Cornwall and not enough for people to live in full time, in the winter a lot of the prettiest villages are like ghost villages , all the soul is lost. If only people would just buy lodges for their holiday homes it could ease Cornwalls massive housing shortage.

Love Nicki! Great properties. Unrealistic expectations. Don't understand the obsession with grounds for the grandkids. Huge grounds to care for as you age. How many years does it take for a holiday let to pay off? And maybe they should pick a cheaper county.

The garden at the first house was amazing. It must have had 20k worth of plants in it. And the house was like two houses. I don't see the logic in paying an extra $50-75k for the holiday let when you'll make less than 10 thousand a year with it. A lot of work, too. Isn't there any kind of licensing required? Most people on the show who mention it have no experience at all.

If you look for an old stone house in the vacation capitol of the UK, you can't expect to get everything you want in terms of space and land! The house will be small and the location expensive.

I want a garden, then a garden is shown, now I want a large grass area for football, then, well what a bore - people simply need to understand what their $ will buy them - IMO at the moment, they need a whole lot more $$$$$

I think the theme song for the show was composed by the same person who did the introductory music for Downton Abbey. I'd be interested in knowing if it was.

I also don't understand, why people want to buy a house for there future grandchildren. There might never be grandchildren, who knows.... Lots of pressure on the children to start a family

Why didn't they just dig out the chapel? Was it really easier to chop a hole in the roof for access?

Generally it's more expensive to live in tourist spots. Cornwall is a poor county and has to make it's money in a relatively short holiday season
