Yo guys, after three amazing in Imphal my time in Manipur comes to an end. The next state on my list is Nagaland. I mentioned throughout my videos that right is a critical time to visit Manipur since a lot of clashes and conflicts are going on in the hill regions of Imphal. Unfortunately these violent clashes, resulted in significant loss of life and displacement of thousands of people. In this video, I left Imphal really early in the morning about 6pm to continue my journey towards Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. On the way to Kohima, we drove through the hill areas of Imphal and so some really interesting scenes. Enjoy!

In Manipur meitei are tge indegenous tribe of Manipur. They have a history from 33AD. And live in Manipur with Kabui, Tangkhul, Maring, Thangal, maram, rongmei etc. Kuki peoples came to Manipur in 19 century as a refugee.and they started the war on May 3 and demanding the land

Kukis made a lot of contribution to Indian freedom movement by partaking in the INA led by Subash Candra Bose. Prior to this there were already records of Kukis that dates back to the 19th century. This is the fact and only you meitei people can't accept that fact. Even now the way you sidelined Kuki and claim the rest as indigenous speaks volumes about your true character,what mindset you harbor and these are the spark that ignited the conflict. Doesnt matter anymore, we have gone past the potential for peace. Kukis are now in their own Kukiland and you'll never set foot there again in your life.

These so called kukis are originated from upper Burma. They entered the North East region of Manipur circa 1931, just before the WWII started. The then british gave them asylum. The north east people called them mithu as cannibalism exist in their society.
