Great video thanks. I ordered the ESEE 3 with the extended & contoured G10 handles with the palm swell fro TKC.

Just bought mine last night from SMKW.com. Probably the most I’ve spent on a knife but I’m sure by all the years of hype, it will be worth every dollar. Stoked for sure. Do like the review. Nice in depth. Subscribed btw

I have this knife and it's really great, I have to admit I rarely use it when I'm out in the bush due to breaking branches with my hands or feet on a rock when I start my fires. When I have to use it is great, just an overall fantastic knife. I don't understand why they don't keep the names true to length of the blade. My Esee 3 has a 4 inch blade, kinda weird idk.

Strip it. I strip all my knives and they patina and look great. Aircraft stripper then wet sand with fine paper to your liking.

Love mine but boy, the retention was really tight on the sheath. I filed down a bit the two buds that the finger guide goes through and now it's fine.

The sheath on my ESEE 4 was getting worn down by the G-10 scales. Not normally a problem, but my handle is orange. Now with black crap on it.

@@Daniel.Liddicoat Not a huge deal to me but if you look at reviews online, every finger guard is scuffed up a bit from the raised bits that hold the knife. Again, I've got it to where I like the way it works. Most knives show some wear and tear once you actually use them, no big.

Nope. It's molded plastic.

@@BMXfreak92 What's funny is injected molded plastic is heat treated to withstand more of the elements and wear and tear than Kydex which warps and cracks over time, I was surprised. Maybe they are just fit for different jobs idk.
