Arizona always in the top 10 rankings, but when conference tournaments they always lose to Oregon being #1 seed all the time.

It’s amusing to watch these polls and the various reactions to them because it’s 100% human sentiment fueled by recency bias. None of this is factual. UConn is BARELY a Top 10 team but because they’re repeat champions folks think they’ll never lose again lol. Hurley is awesome but he had Sanogo and Clingan. Do people really realize how it totally changes the game, the pace and the offensive flow to have seven footer manning the paint and affecting every shot the opponent attempts? Purdue is not the best team in the Big Ten. Same deal as UConn. No Edey, BIG problem. Duke is underrated. They have the horse this year with 7’2” Maluach. Oh and they got Cooper Flagg. Oh and their whole roster is 6’5” or better. Oh and Tyrese Proctor is a lockdown defender, and so is Sion James, and Mason Gillis and Maliq Brown. And the whole squad can shoot, but the recency bias just sees the Duke teams off the last year that had no offensive flow, played soft and had no rim protection. Alabama went to the Final Four so all of a sudden they’re Top 5. Really?? And who don’t even know if Sears will be gone to the NBA draft. Carolina is Top 10 - but they’re NOT. Folks just see that team that was the top seed in the South region this year. But if Harrison Ingram doesn’t spurn the pros, and if Hubert Davis can’t land a five from the portal, UNC is way overrated. None of this matters because two weeks into the season everyone’s sentiments will be washed away like those March Madness bracket predictions.

UConn is going to suck. Purdue will be much better. Purdue bringing back Loyer, Smith, Kaufman Renn. Heide, Colvin. plus an awesome freshman class

Pretty bold statement considering that Purdue would've lost to UConn by 40 in the championship game if Edey wasn't on their team. Purdue was a one man team in that game.
