Hansbury (however you spell his name) is a bad example, because it involves unintended consequences, which calls for a young man who, when he did get healthy, wanted to play. We were at the crossroads in a year when he was unavailable when Shannon was out, became available the team was rolling and successful. Could he have been worked into the lineup more? Press pass, but I 😢doubt it. He had been out too long, had not improved on the weaker points of his needed skills. Is he a good kid? In all likelihood! But he is also a norma l human being who becomes a little spoiled by success and accolades. You have to keep improving, step up to the level of competition in all aspects to EARN the time on the court. It is not a right; you must earn it! If you don’t get it, talk to the coach or an assistant coach. Ask: what do I need to do? DO IT! If you still don’t fit, then transfer! BUT, don’t whine. You just were not good enough, quick enough to merit more playing time. Best wishes elsewhere. Goodie is not the one can I understand. He is a great young man who may well get less time on the court in Indiana. He could have been a leader on the next year’s team. I do wish him the best! He is a great young man, we were lucky to have and maybe mom & dad & other friends and family will get to see him play. I hope so. I just do not think his playing time is guaranteed.

Thanks! I love sitting down and hearing about the schools and hosts. It’s amazing that for how different say a Boise State and Mississippi State are how the passion and love for the programs is the same. That there is always something fun like a blue field or cowbells that everyone might know about, but don’t know the origins of or meaning behind. In short, it’s fun to celebrate the positives of college athletics!

Pretty bold statement considering that Purdue would've lost to UConn by 40 in the championship game if Edey wasn't on their team. Purdue was a one man team in that game.

PU had their day in the sun, which set which was eclipsed by UConn. Edey is gone and 3 excellent Pac 12 players have arrived at IU, look out with them teamed with Mac, Malick and Gal. And the McDonalds forward could make a ton of noise. Having Goode is great for a great 3-point shooter will help a ton, Go IU

The 2014 Spartans was a fun team, the Cotton Bowl come back is still one of the greatest games I ever watched but thinking of 2014 reminds me of 2013, that was a National Championship caliber team. A team that was robbed by the refs at Notre Dame!!

USC fan here. Curious to hear from different Big10 content creators. Thanks for the shout out to SC. I think most SC fans expect around 9 wins this season. However there is some concern around the d-line. Even though I’m an SC fan, I do agree that Oregon is best placed to succeed out of the former Pac12 teams.

Thanks for watching! We are hoping to get some more representation from our new members soon too. I agree about the DL. If SC could've added one more DT I would've felt better, but we will see. I am really looking forward to this secondary we heard so much about in the spring. Can't wait!

With Rice and Carlyle running the offense, with Ballo being the big who gets his without a whole lot of time spent with his back to the basket, it is hard to imagine this team not playing a high tempo style.

I feel the pain trying to coach youth softball. I coached 9-12 year olds one year. It was definitely different after coaching boys for 10 years and that team had a lot of talent. I was brought in as a pitching coach since my dad pitched mens fastpitch in the fort wayne area for about 35 years.

Purdue is going to lose to Nebraska worse than last year Russ sorry. Rhule wins in his second year(true only 6-7) games in his previous stops. However his first years were 1-2 wins. So he improves by 5 wins. Will he do that at Nebraska? More possibly now than ever with frost. The support for Rhule is through the roof. We expect to be good enough for a bowl game but recent years also made us aware that we will be let down by our expectations. We are crossing our fingers and hoping to start building some momentum in the season. If the Huskers get hot. Looks like a potential 2019 Minnesota type season. Our defense is solid and all we have to do is play smart with the football. Iowa has proven this method to be effective. No I don’t believe we will be like Iowa nor are we striving to. Our offense will be much better than that. With all that said I would buy stock in Nebraska while the price is low. Better things are coming.

like most people these guys don't understand Painter and how he builds a program. If 3 or even 4 of these freshmen RS; there is plenty of talent to compete with anyone. And next year when most programs are hoping find the "right" guy in the portal he will once again have talented, Purdue experienced guys who have had a year to learn, understand and execute the o and d systems. They will hit the floor running the following year not learning the basics. Berg at 5 (he's has 2 years to learn from Edey); TKR at 4; Heide at 3; Loyer 2 and Smith 1, with Furst at back up to 4 or 5; With Colvin back uo at 2 or 3. With Catchings at Back up at 3 or 4. With Harris as Smith's understudy at 1. Painter values players with Purdue mentality and great teammate mentality and experience in the Purdue system over shear talent. The following year there will not be any portal guys either.

You guys need to go to experience AUTZEN STADIUM. You wouldn’t believe how loud it is during games. This season tickets are all sold out last march, including standing room. They are already planning to expand the North side of the stadium to 15k more seats after they build the new practice football facility next to the Mohofsky center and outdoor practice facility.🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

I find it very difficult to believe that the Big 10 would want Virginia over Miami. The whole point of realignment is increasing value through football/location market? Miami has a better TV market and draws more eyeballs to a TV contract than UVA.
@calfrye53433 күн бұрын
Why is Loyer starting? Furst & Wren in the front court. Heidi & Colvin at 3 & 2 & Smith at point would be legit. Loyer can’t play against high level athletes for long stretches. He should be coming off the bench.

This is a serious question about a national finalist because they don’t play the BS musical chairs game to fill their entire team??? Besides they tried that with Nigel Pack and he went to Miami to get $800k. Purdue doesn’t have that kind of money to throw at guys. Maybe eventually with the NIL program building.

Yeah I don't think yall could be more wrong. Introducing a Syracuse or UVA or Boston College into your conference doesn't add value and in fact it takes value away. Now you're splitting money with schools whose fans wouldn't come to or watch a game even if their team was undefeated. Gaining a market only works if the fans in that market like College Football and participate but those fans do not.
