Espn falling apart no good shows

ESPN has not been producing top notch sports entertainment in quite sometime. They make terrible hire's and are not in tune with the people that once tuned in. Sad, but the reality is that most of us get our sports fix from different sources nowadays, I know I do.

Thank goodness....most are tired of the media's tactics...so ppl don't have to watch these networks to get actual sports content anymore. Ppl are tired of these so-called analysts pushing narratives rather than doing their job and analyzing the actual sports. Keyshawn only understands football, any other sport....he's just a casual. Max is a boxing analyst, so if he's not talking boxing...then it's just hot takes and personal narratives he wants to push with no context. J-Will only understands basketball, so he's not versatile to speak about other sports, so when basketball season finishes he doesn't contribute much. Charles Barkley said it best...."NBA is the only sport where any fool with no prior connection or understanding of the game....can get on TV and make a living." They get baseball ppl to talk about baseball, former football players to talk about football, hockey analysts to talk about hockey, and even golf analysts to talk about golf, but not with basketball

I can see Skip refusing to work with Keyshawn because he’s ‘beneath’ him or something. When you hear Jay Williams speak outside of ESPN he sounds like he already has one foot out the door.

ehhh.... once sports streaming becomes more entrenched in our viewing (such as NFL games only shown on AmazonPrime in a few years), channels like ESPN, CBSSports, etc, become less relevant. Streaming services will just grab the talent they need from the current ESPN, or NFL Network, or CBSSports. There will no longer be a reason for me to watch these current traditional tv channels and I think, in some ways, thats what ESPN is preparing for now with these lay offs.

Keshawn was a baller, but he didn’t seem committed to his own Radio/TV show on ESPN. At times, he looked distracted with his phone, he didn’t seem focused on covering topics and the show spent 30 minutes or more chatting about the same topic. It was painful to watch. The Pat Mcafee show is going to be a winner. Pat works extremely hard, I hope he brings Mina Kimes to the team.

The chemistry on this show was hard to watch because it was nonexistent.

Max is a boxing guy, first and foremost, and a good one. But he's a little too monotone to be he host of a big show. Key, despite being a former player, is not particularly insightful and is a snooze fest. Jay Will has potential, but he's in the same market as a guy like Richard Jefferson, and Jefferson is a far more interesting analyst to listen to, and is more camera friendly. I think Max finds something in boxing, but his days in the spotlight are over. Key might be able to make the rounds as a guest on others' shows. JWill might figure it out.
