Weight makes a big difference in basketball. If you don't weigh a lot, on offense your movement can be altered more easily. On defense, it's harder to alter the offensive player's movement. For rebounding, same situation.

Kobe got dominated in the paint, Carmelo's post up isn't even his best offense but Kobe couldn't do anything to stop him even with great defense, just too small. Lebron has faced the warriors who are the best team in nba history, a spurs dynasty team, and an experienced Mavs team. How many HOFers I hear? MJ faced 7 HOFers while Lebron faced 10 HOFers.
