It's not the spotlight ... it's the fact that he's lost a step due to age and injuries. In the playoffs, teams make sure he doesn't get any open looks. He's not the defender he was .... and he's never been a good ball handler, passer or rebounder. One of the greatest shooters of all time with with emphasize on the past tense. You're not wrong but I thing that why going ro LA makes sense. LeBron and AD demand a lot of attention and will give him a ton of good looks. He essentially gets the shots Dlo get but is a better shooter. It will probably have to be a sign and trade with Dlo going back to GS but he has an expiring contract which could be huge for GS. Klay also doesn't have to be his old self on defense because they have AD behind him. It's honestly a great fit for him and he gets to go home. His pops already calls home games for LA.

Also, it's not like LUKA will pass him the ball. We all saw how Kyrie worked w that.
