I was confused until I realised that the plays aren't shown chronologically. I've never seen football highlights done in random sequence before, you need to keep an eye on the score to know where in the game you are. When the announcer said "like a play they ran earlier" I thought "or a play that they ran later, as the case may be".

Nicco really stepped up and managed the game well. It takes a lot to come into a big game without much experience and get the win. I’m really happy for him but still feel bad for Greene. Those two seem to have a great friendship though - loved seeing them hug it out after the game.

I have always loved when WVU plays Pitt or VT, cause usually it’s going to be a good game cause their natural rivals. I know the big 12 has some great teams, but we don’t belong in in that Division, next week Texas Tech and sure I want us to win, but I have like 25% interest in those games.

Yeah, I haven't had all that much interest in WVU football after the dismantling of the Big East. I don't care about teams from Texas and Oklahoma, and now they're going to Utah but not Blacksburg or Pittsburgh? No thanks.

@@poppyneese1811 I hear ya! I live in South Jersey and I've been a big WVU fan from the moment Salem High School's AB Brown transferred from Pitt to WVU in the mid-80's. I saw AB play quite a bit during his illustrious high school career since I lived in the next town over. BTW, PSU & Baltimore Colt great Lydell Mitchell and also Wisconsin & NFL star Jonathon Taylor played at Salem. I've been to four games in Morgantown but most of my games were on the road against Rutgers and UConn....around five games at each stadium. With the transfer to the Big 12 there are no games remotely close to me except the 6.5 hr drive to Morgantown from the Jersey Shore. They should be playing longtime rivals Pitt and VT every year if I had my way. The Big 12 is a good conference but there are simply no big rivalry games.

@@TikkaT3x I don't think so. If pitt had a capable QB it wouldn't have turned out the same. Only reason Nicco wasn't ready is NB won't let him or GG throw the ball. You can laugh all you want but we only scored 17, how many games will we win in big 12 play scoring like that? If defenses don't respect our passing game they are going to make running the ball hard.

@@eers2you I agree 100% . NB has done better by Nicco as far as getting him playing time than he did by GG. I can't help but imagine how good GG would be if NB would have played him more during the doege saga. Considering how little Nicco has played he did do a good job. Can't get a Pat White but every once in a blue moon.

10:23 on a must have 4th & 20, WV rushes essentially three with a 4th stunting. The two outside pressure guys get to the QB and haul him down. The coach responsible for the Pitt O-line play probably got some words for himself and his charges. Awful to watch.

Pitt had 1 decent season in the past 40 years. They're so sanctimonious. They're also terribly unoriginal(sister relations, toothbrush invented in WV) and lack inspiration.1 ten win season in maybe half a century, while winning a terrible ACC championship in the process.That and A 4 point win, in a season where they went 3-9. Not that THEY were good, but they beat a team who were. That's their biggest accomplishments since, who knows. Consume Excrement Pitt!

Pitt QB was highly recruited out of high school. So many teams are thankful he chose Pitt instead of them. A lot of schools wanted him.

He actually chose Notre Dame out of high school. Then transferred to Boston College. Then transferred to Pitt. Pitt did not pick up a QB that a lot of teams wanted.

Probably because under Neil Brown, the whole country think West Virginia football is a laughing stock. They referred to us as a MAC school. This year he can be fired. I have no problem in watching this game anymore. He is a horrible coach and if you look at it, historically this is worse than West Virginia and the 70s when they fired that coach turned around and West Virginia started winning and winning and winning. we are actually the most winningest team that hasn’t won a national title. I just don’t feel so proud to watch them play so I don’t watch I watch this video and what I saw was the Pittsburgh quarterback won the game for West Virginia
