Postecoglou made all sorts of adjustments as the season went along. You'd have to be willfully ignorant to ignore them. After the Arsenal game, they made an adjustment and didn't give up another corner kick goal. After Chelsea he mad another adjustment and didn't give up another set piece goal. He made all kinds of adjustments all season long

@@TerribleEnglish nah Wigan won a trophy. Newport and Coventry almost knocked them out. Literally a toenail from getting knocked out. Well done against Liverpool's kids and hungover City. But 8th Negative goal difference. Most losses ever. UCL cost England a 5th place. Newcastle kids cup defeat. Varane on the bench Vs City. Onana Afcon stupidity. Mount could have been signed for free next week. Onana could have been signed for 8m a season before. Anthony over Kudus. Anthony for triple the price. Player fallout with: Sancho, Martial, Ahmed, Regulon, Cas, Amrabat, Mount, Anthony, Dalot, Bruno, Varane, 2nd GK, youth GK on loan. Gave a youth player game just to entice them to sign. Then discarded them. Amrabat is a 10m loanee sitting on the bench playing LB over Regulon who was also loaned. Only other positive is Maino who was always gonna come through. Makes you question the 70m on mount more. Not one player has actually progressed. Not one players is playing to their strength's. Team selection still a mystery. Style of play? Heck even formation isn't known. At least team didn't get slapped 7s and 6s... But more losses with the highest wage bill and no extra cash to spend cause of FFP. The holes in the roof are now famous. CR7 complained about infrastructure at the club. Still no change. INEOS is the only hope for the club not becoming more like Everton after the 80s

B- is a good score. Lost their best striker and looked resigned to outside top 8 to be honest. Started off A+ playing entertaining football. Looks promising and got europa and were challenging for top 4 like they have been for the last 10 years.

Arsenal have won multiple trophies in the last 30 year including premier leagues and FA cups while Spurs have won only one trophy which happens to be the smallest trophy available. Spurs fans need to stop focusing on Arsenal who have achieved far more and start desiring and demanding success for their club.

if you dont grade on expectations then why even bother to grade, the position in the league itself the grade, its important to grade based on what you expect of the team, you wouldn't grade aston villa on same parameters as you grade city, if you do then man city is graded way higher for finishing first.

Spurs were a pleasant surprise this past season. Very enjoyable to watch, offensive football, win or lose. Ange established himself as a top 5 manager in the league imo. End of season wasn't great but definitely deserve a B grade. Made Europa and if the other 7 EPL teams in Europe this term performed better (especially MNU) England could have gotten 5 UCL spots for next season and that would have meant UCL for Postecoglu in his 1st season in charge. If they strengthen this off season CL finish is achievable.

Yep, just look at the last Man City game. Pep admitted after the game that it threw them off balance and they found it difficult to adjust to. People don't listen to and understand what Postecoglou says and is doing. It is all about prioritising what is important at the moment. What is most important now is embedding the playing style and philosophies into the team. So when he says he doesn't care about something, he's saying it's not the most important concern at the moment.

Let me explain - he is saying Spurs could have had better season if, one of the reasons given by him, they did not have injuries. Spurs played Davies and Emerson at CB vs city and got a result. United got knocked out by Newcastle's kids. United's UCL exist has nothing to do with injuries. Varane not playing is not cause of injuries. Bruno hand was sore - like Foden. Half the playing squad HATE TenHag, ask Cas and Anthony. Sancho about to play in the final. Liverpool had two less injuries but finished 3rd. In the starting lineup united missed Martinez and Shaw.

Spurs started well then other teams know how to counter their style and spurs didn't change their style until the end and dropped points. Ange is stubborn and cost them many points. What grounds is Shaka giving Spurs A- ? They started off as gang busters and petered out like a feeble club their history indicates. I question Shaka's football knowledge sometimes. This team was pathetic once teams found out how to play their high press and the manager refused to adapt. If you want to give them a credit for finishing 5th that's fine, but the way their season pan out screams of failure in every level.

I want Levy/ENIC out, but I can't fault the players when you have the 7th highest wage bill and the team regularly finishes in the top 6 they're punching above their weight and there are clearly clubs under achieving (Man united, Chelsea 👀). For the money that they spend on these players I don't think you'll get much more out of them. If Tottenham want to go to the next level they'll need to break the wage structure to secure the elite level talent.

They signed Micky for a bargain given how he hit the ground running, so I assume the reinforcements they will seek will be of good quality. Also OGY can relax about the fans, Ange stated in a press conference that he had no malice against the fans, his issue was with PLAYING STAFF who were casually joking about willfully losing to Arsenal

Spurs still have a couple of skill positions to fill and some attitude problems. But with Klopp/Pep leaving, Arteta/ETH as lame ducks, Spurs have everything needed from finances to a massive global fan base to compete as a Top 5 team in Europe with Real Madrid, Bayern Barcelona and Inter Milan.

Craig’s argument is nonsense - of course grades (in this scenario) are based on expectations. If a team destined for relegation (e.g. Sheffield United) scraped survival by 2 points, on his grading system, they’d receive an E. But it would be an A when you add context

Madison is so overrated by pretty much everyone in England. Sure he can do it against the lower table sides, but he absolutely chokes when you take away time and space which happens against the best sides. He had plenty of time to get over his injury from midseason and just mailed it in for the 2nd half and was utterly pathetic. You look at his performance against Man City and his job is to sit between the lines and find those passes to open City up and all he did was play it safe, sit in a deeper role and make the easy passes out to the wide areas. His confidence was shot and he was a passenger for Spurs like so many of their players in the 2nd half of the season. But none of those players other than Son perhaps are rated as highly as Madison. Too highly. I predict that if Postecoglou is still at the club in 2 - 3 years Madison won't be starting for him, because he just isn't good enough to be at a top 4 side.

Let's not forget that Madison was signed from Leicester, a team that apparently was too good to be relegated, yet there he was in the absolute thick of that team sinking all the way down to the Championship. I think that we should give Postecoglou the whole of next season as long as we’re not in a relegation fight. Building a team is not an overnight thing, it takes time. If we move Postecoglou on then the next manager will mean taking a step back again. I’ve seen enough from Postecoglou to know that he is worth backing and supporting for an extended period of time and see where the journey takes the club.
