there’s WAYYYY too many people talking about Izzy ko’ing alex tonight. Alex is wiping divisions while Izzy is sitting on the couch diddling his dog and saying “I beat that guy one time.”

The way he got Knocked out by Izzy would’ve folded lesser men but this guy gave him his flowers no excuses brushed it off and went about his business and won a whole other title. What makes Alex so special also is how efficient his game is everything is tactical and deliberate this dude is amazing plain and simple.

Teddy Atlas worked with Cus D'Amato and trained a young Tyson, once during a conflict he put a gun to Tyson's head and almost shot him. After that he left there and they reconciled only in 2013, 33 years later.

Just right hand to the face is not enough. He Clipped several fighters that had the right hand up with the vertical fist. Same he used on Jamal Hill. Took Adesanya 3 losses and a near death to learn the only way is to pretend you are hurt and prey he will fall on the trap. but even that may not work anymore. His rate of success over Adesanya on 84kg is 75%. On 93kg he would punch the flesh out Adesanya's bones

I remember the days when Bo Nickal was talking about being able to easily win against Alex and I could see that at the time because of how dominant wrestling can be. But when you're THIS good at distance management and space, you're never even gonna get to him. And if you do get close you seriosuly risk getting twenty years taken off of your brain.
