I strongly believe that this method should be used in every classroom. Students (including myself) are used to the bad habit of going into class to just listen to the teacher without really participating in activities that help reinforce the information taught. The case method creates a type of interaction between the teacher and the classmates that will completely change the way people think and the way people react to different situations. Its amazing the variety of points of views that can exist on a certain subject and this methodology can definitely help analyze them to develop better critical thinking skills.

I think that the case method is helpful to share ideas and to know different points of view about a specific problem, usually a real problem. Is important because students can interact in the classroom with their teacher, they can use the theory and information that they have and put it in practice in situations such as debates or solving cases. Also, I consider that this method allows to the students lose their fear to express their ideas and become protagonists of the class. So, I think that the case method allows to improve the way that students communicate when they are working in groups by moderator/professor support.

I think this is a very good technique because classes do not become monotonous and encourage students to educate themselves. The approach of a case study is always a learning opportunity, as those involved in the analysis and engaged with the discussion of the case study and the group process for reflection. And I share the view that there will be national cases written by ecuadorian teachers on domestic companies and thus be closer to our reality.

The case method is having a greater impact nowdays because it is used by many universities and students are becoming more familiar with it and giving their opinion and point of view, this encourages them to be active and participate in class, solving problems, looking up for information, using the information they have and have learned through years of study. Also, it would be helpful if there were more cases from Ecuadorian companies because students need to be envolved in the environment they are working in. I think this technique is going to be more applied in some years, because companies are looking for young people who know how to deal with different situations and problems, find solutions quickly, and tolerate other people's opinion.

I think that the case method should begin to be used in the universities of Ecuador.This is and important method to analyse what happen in real time, not only learning concepts would make us abailable to resolve some problems that should appear in our proffesional life. This method as the proffesor said , make us think more than what is visible , this needs a deeper analysis to make us take a decision to solve a problem. We can also share our opinion with the classmates and learn from them. This make us more flexible in our way of thinking , because we would notice that it could be more than one answer and there is not a bad answer. I also agree with the way that the course should be focus on everybody's opinion and that the professor should be a mentor who will help studients to find a solution for a case and not only explain his point of view. This is a great and usefull Method that should be implemented in Ecuador , not only in universities but also in the entreprises.

I think the case method helps a lot in class. It's a very useful tool for teachers because they can make a feed back to their students with this and they can also recognize who is paying attention and who is not. In this way they can make interactive classes. For students is useful too because this allow us to put in practice with real cases all we've been studying. We can analyze, solve problems, give our opinions, etc. With this we can learn more and remember easily the topics, matching them with the cases.

This method is very interesting because according to the expert the teacher becomes a moderator and the student start to think solutions for themselves, they have the opportunity to search the necessary information or find the key to resolve the cases putting apart the fact that "only the teacher knows everything". Also with this method the teacher is more flexible, listening the different perspectives and points of views of every participant. In my opinion here in Ecuador are many useful cases that should help us to think solutions according our reality.

I believe that the case method is a tool that, even though it is not a new thing, right now is taking an important role in the universities across the world. I agree with everything the proffesor said, because through this method, the students are allowed to speak their minds out and put in practice all the knowledge they have got from different areas, therefore, the students change their quiet and passive attitude in class and become very active and participative. The case method is becoming a modern management tool very useful for students and proffesors. Nowdays, a lot of multi-national companies are using it in their recruitment process so it is very important for students to be prepared to solve problems quickly and be able to give their point of view with decent arguments and discuss about them, and repect other´s opinions. I consider that one of the benefits that the proffesor mention is one of the most relevant, and it is that the method make students to search for the information themselves and read a lot.

I agree with all that he is saying about the case method, because I think that some students are a bit nervous when they want express their opinion about anything else. Also, the cases are so helpfull for everyone because, like the speaker says, help to students to open their minds for new experiences and this will help a lot to the students's future in the profesionals life.

I agree to use this metodology called "case method" in the classroom because it allows us to share different points of view, students receiving feedback from classmates and teacher and it helps us to develop criticism skills. It is important that cases fit with the reality of our country because the political, economic and cultural factor have great impact on business decisions.

I think this study method is so much importat in the classroom (and should be used in every university) because it hepls students to develop their critical thinking and it's a different way to encourage the students to debate and defend their points of view, also it's a good way to practice tolerance by listening every opinion of each partner. It's a good oportunity to make conscience about how important is to admit that the change of the traditional ways to study starts from oneself.

I think it's really important to use this method to improve the critical thinking that the theory doesn't allow the students to develop. Also it allows the students to applied the theory that they had learn before in real cases and the professor could guide them so they the students will learn how to apply properly the theory learned in classes. But also it's important to learn the Theory because if we don't know it, we couldn't apply it. So both parts are important, the theory opens the doors to understand the cases, but just gives us one point of view and applying this method on classes give us the opportunity to listen the others and to see the cases from other point of view. Also it prepare us to the real world where we have to explain the others our ideas about a situation.

This video explain an important method that help students to develop their ideas and resolve some problem in case. For few students this methods is a little difficult because we are use to just listen the teacher and then go to home but with this method we can express our ideas and discute with the classmates about the theme that has been chosen for the class. This method, form better leaders in the professional environment.

Today, the Ecuadorian Educations is trying to applied differents and better ways of education and the "Method Case" is one of them. It is a great idea to make an active class, where not just the teacher talk but the students give their point of view. This method give a developed analysis and critical skills to the proffesor and to the students. There is a lot of benefits applying this methos like have a new ideas, have feedbacks, lose the fair of give our opinions and also learn to listen and be emphatic with the classmates.

I think is very important to increase the use of this method in classes because through it students can develope critical thinking, it is needed to solve real problems, actually companies are looking for professionals who have this ability. We should advantaje of this type of learning because it is necessary that we actively get involved in our classes, we should be able to base our ideas and accept different points of views of our classmates, it will make us better proffesionals

Before watching this video, the concept about "Case Method" and what was their main objective, was not too clear for me, but now, I am very interested in learning with this type of methodology, because it is true that theory takes relevance when is applied in a specific situation, and provides to students the opportunity to develop critical analysis skills, express their thoughts to the classroom, share knowledge in order to improve the critical thinking. Also, this method is a challenge to the teacher that becomes a moderator that gets benefits by learning the alternatives solutions that the students find to solve the case.

It's very benefical the use of the present methodology, because, as the interviewed explains, these cases are complex units of problems without a specific way to solve it. David Wang and Linda Groat apoint that the researcher has to resource to different strategies to, effectively, come to a proper solution. Inclass, every participant could provide with a strategy not approached by other participant, giving to the audience valuable knowledge

I believe that the case method is an important tool for developing high quality professionals because it generates analysis skills that allows the consideration of different points of views and also it oblígates the students to research for more information about the topics discussed in class. If we consider that the managment uses techniques whose results vary depending on the situation (it is not an exact science) it is logic to use the case method in classrooms.

The case method has a major contribution to university students because changes the behavior of the students in the class. They become more critical and develop problem solve skills with some previous knowledge or own investigation. The main benefit is the collective learning between students and teacher. The highschools in Ecuador could implement this method I am sure a positive result will be achieved.

I think that this method is very useful for every student, and would be better if the cases are " Ecuadorian cases ", because when we are students we used to memorize everything, the teacher just go to class and talk, finally we have tests, but when some of us start the laboral life may notice that the theoric is not the same as practical, we also notice a lot of things that we didn't think in the moment that the teacher was talking. This method could improve the ecuadorian education and make better professionals with critical thoughts.

There is a feedback from the moderator that helps us improve our strategic vision in decision-making. It is important for our professional field learn to develop case studies where you put into practice what has been learned during our career as the financial side, marketing, etc.

Everything this professor says it is so true , but unfortunately this method of study at most universities in Ecuardor is poorly understood, maybe because we are get used just to be in the classroom listening to the professor having everything easy or just letting others think for us and not developing critical and analytical thinking. I strongly believe this can change starting for myself, and making changes in how the subjects are taught at universities, this is a wonderful tool for learning, I sincerely believe that this will make better students, teachers and professionals.
