Kendrick let his diss sit for damn near three weeks and aint take nothing back publicly. J cole had his out for 48 hours and had trouble sleeping 💀💀💀 i think he felt bad cuz he knew he was cappin in the diss, he aint mean most of it. Its all good to diss and battle for competition cuz this is Hip Hop but at the end of the day you gotta believe what u saying and i honestly dont believe he believes some of the shit he said on the diss. I know alot of people love the diss but i didnt even hear any conviction in his delivery. I think he heard negative things that other people have said about Kendrick and repeated it on his diss but deep down he dont really share the same opinion as them... he knows he personally loves tpab. I could be wrong but imo he was better off not putting the diss out at all atleast not one that he wasnt genuine about because the backpeddlin makes it look worse like he dead ass coppin pleas. All i know is this battle comes down to Drake vs Kendrick now since J cole "gracefully bowed out"...

@@esquire601Check this out...If Kendrick considered Cole a "real friend", why did he diss Cole in two of his biggest rap versus? Kendrick was aware anytime you mention a rapper's name, who is also popular, it will garner MASS attention. That's like publicly slapping you and your fanbase in the face. After being fired on AGAIN by Kendrick and knowing he ate the first shot, it was time to respond. Especially knowing it occurred during the time the whole world is aware you are fighting for the 👑. If Cole wanna moonwalk his way out of this squabble, he should take his delicate fingers tips off the crown, stop all the woooofin in his raps and stand in the corner like a middle child.

I still listen to Cole after the apology on Sunday. I think the only thing that can “help” the apology is IF Kendrick doesn’t respond with a diss verse or diss song and Kendrick says he wants to end it or that he accepts Cole’s apology(but that’s wishful thinking, lol)

@@TheRealLeonardWashington you said KZfaq breakdowns which means its a hypothesis of wat the person making the video think it means , while on the other hand we have the person who makes the songs say I don’t do subliminals then on top of tht the man’s character shows he don’t everytime he talks about someone he makes it known lil pump, Ye, Youngboy, kdot. But the difference is he don’t like to lie or disrespect someone which is why he apologized to Kendrick cause he felt like he was disrespecting someone he fucc wit. On top of tht Cole prolly looked at it as just rap but might have got word tht kdot really don’t fucc wit drake on some bigger than rap stuff cause just by seeing who Kendrick aligned himself with u can see it might be more too it

Is there proof that Kendrick called J cole? Im really not buying that. It would seem more realistic that J cole called Kendrick. Since he has actually showed that behavior in the past when Kendrick did the control verse J cole Called Kendrick. And has admitted this in interviews. Also if Kendrick really did call J cole this time i doubt he would be on stage talking about "i pray he dont feel no way".. if u was really in communication with him then u know how he feel.

Cole is my fave rapper and I was disappointed as a hip hop fan because being a fan of Kendrick too, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity where I’d finally get to see both of my fave rappers lyrically spar and send shots at each other on some competition type energy, especially now that Cole is in his element and is in his prime. If Cole was gonna apologize, he should’ve waited until after he dropped “The Fall Off” because now that he has this album coming out and he’s been hyping us up with him saying that he’s “the best rapper alive” and showing that energy on that album ain’t gonna hit the same because of him simply ducking smoke when the opportunity presented itself against his peer. However, I’ll still give the album a listen when he drops it because I’m a hardcore J. Cole fan, but I think him apologizing kinda put a dent in him surpassing Kendrick. Over the years, I feel like Cole became too humble right around the time he dropped “2014 FHD/4YEO” because “The Warm Up” & “Friday Night Lights” Cole would never and that’s a fact💯.

Lol Cole destroyed his legacy , it doesn’t affect nothing else but in Rap he’s done , he was talking tough on bennys record and so many other records up until the point he put his tail between his legs ,just pathetic , I’ve been a cole fan from way before the warm up and I’ve never been so disappointed because his response was not genuine because if it was he wouldn’t have had that first shooter verse and if that 7 mins drill had positive review he wouldn’t have done that corn ball bs , he’s a student of the game and knows they’re lot of dumb fans so he did that to repair his image a bit and even made it worse at least now he’s proven the point of many that’s he’s the king of corny raps that’s why a lot of corny rappers look up to him eg Logic , Joyner JID and whole lot , they’re individually good but not first tier level and that’s fact , he’s not being honest with that bs response because if you know you know

If they were "real friends", Kendrick would have never mention Cole's name in the first place. To conclude, J Cole just shot Hip Hop in the heart. The cultures currently in I.C.U.

Kendrick had more memorable diss. Lines from his verse have already been etched in my memory for life. J Cole's response was weak, that halfassed flow dont work for diss records, regurgitation "Takeover" lines in a diss is so cliche. Respect to Cole for owning his false narrative building in regard to “7 minute drill.” It’s heart breaking as a hip hop fan to see a lack of skill in this one area, from a top emcee. No joke or slight to Cole, but NC’s true top emcee is Phonte. In addition to skill, he has demonstrated a competitive spirit. Let’s see if Cole recovers and if Rapsody shows up if tested.

This all sound goofy. If in the beginning y'all didn't expect Cole to fire back or this isn't like him to diss then how can it impact his legacy? Do you hear yourselves? He is a song writer and a hit maker not a battle rapper. If he moves on people top tier list then it should only be because someone has a better diss track record. You are reaching. You're tearing down a top tier lyricist then later you will complain there are no bars in the rap game anymore. 9/10 right people will always focus on the one thing out of place. He gave a fire album. You wanted dope lyrics but thats not what you choose to talk about. We can get great lyrics without dissing each other directly. You want controversy for others that you wouldn't want for yourself. You want a man to find dirt and publicly ridicule a friend whom he respects for your public entertainment. Listen to yourselves. Clown behavior.

@@esquire601 Not true. I listened all the way through. It’s not about what you said. It’s an accumulation of all the media outlets ripping him saying it’s the weakest move in rap history and he let mas down again and this isn’t what hip hop is supposed to be. That’s the problem. History wasn’t perfect. Those people who were dissing you want him to emulate had real distaste for each other. That doesn’t get mentioned enough. Side note let’s stop popularizing blacks vs blacks. Like that. And like bro said it’s corney. If you don’t stand for something you fall for anything. He the strongest in the room for choosing to walk alone.
