I’ve been watching lots of vids about ESR Geo wallet and your review convinced me to buy one. It’s good you tried it on both iPhone pro and iPhone Max. I really wanted to see the size on normal iPhone pro. Thank you so much amazing review.

I have read on one of the reviews of ESR HaloLock wallet with regards to vegan leather is that after about 6 months of daily use it already have signs of wear and tear and didnt last long. Wish they just made it pure leather would've been almost perfect...

I can’t speak to any long term use data on the ESR HaloLock wallet specifically, but in general, I think that good quality leather is probably going to last longer than most vegan leather…at least from what I’ve seen. Perhaps ESR will broaden their wallet range to include a real leather option in future.

Thank you so much for this video. Definitely gonna get one. Does the MagSafe work well with the Casetify case? Noticed you did a review on them as well as I was planning on getting their case & this wallet.

CASETIFY cases should work fine with this as far as I know. I don’t remember if I actually tested that combo out, however, and I’m away from home on vacation currently so I can’t check it out for you. So sorry!

Another great review and great content. I have the older one it’s good. This wallet is fantastic a lot of cards fitting in and the bluetooth is a great boost to the wallet and a good price as well nice one . Enjoy your weekend it’s a holiday here in Ireland St Patrick’s day ☘️ 😎🇮🇪👏

This is very similar in size to ESR’s MagSafe Stand Wallet…just slightly thicker. Same great magnets…even a bit stronger, I think. The card capacity of the Stand Wallet is a little larger…I think it can take 4 cards, as opposed to the three cards with this one, but of course it doesn’t have the Find My functionality. Great product. Enjoy your holiday weekend!!!

Is the magnet as strong when using this on a naked iPhone as I’m really looking forward to using the finger loop with my case less iPhone.

Hi Dean! Not quite as strong. It's good...but if you are using a case with strong magnets, like an ESR HaloLock case or the RhinoShield SolidSuit with MagSafe, then the magnetic hold will be a bit better...

But Bluetooth only has like 10m of range? So if you drop it while away from home without realising then this feature is of no help anyway. I guess it’s just if you can’t find it at home?

No, it uses Apple’s Find My network. So if there are other Apple devices near the Geo Wallet, it will transmit its location via them, using its Bluetooth to connect to them, and then those other devices will be able to send the location data of the Wallet to the Find My network, where you can receive it. If your Geo Wallet is lost in Antarctica, with no other Apple devices in the vicinity, then you are out of luck, but otherwise, it should work fine.

I've just received mine from the Kickstarter campaign and whilst the actual looks and functionality look absolutely awesome, I feel that the whole wallet just makes the iPhone far too bulky (I'm using it on my iPhone 13 Pro) and heavy. Its a shame really as it really is a great product however I just can't see myself using it due to the increase in bulk (I will continue to use my Apple Wallet as the overall profile of wallet and phone is SO much thinner).

Hi Dean! I hear you…it definitely adds thickness and weight to the phone. It probably only makes sense if you are looking for an excellent stand as well as a wallet…and if you are nervous enough about losing your MagSafe wallet that you want the enhanced Find My functionality and increased MagSafe strength…

That's why I use a Pro Max. It's already so heavy and bulky, that you don't even notice this ESR wallet on the back. 😀
