Thanks love this case. It’s the one I decided to get. I love that it has 2 cases that are detachable and the angles for viewing and drawing are GREAT and stable. Thanks

I originally had a Zugu case and ended up going with this case. No regrets. Why? -The lower writing angles -raised feature for viewing and typing -ability to take the iPad out of the folio while still having a case -I got a grip for my Apple Pencil. The holder on the Zugu case is not rigid, so without the pencil in it, the case does not feel quite as solid -I will say the Zugu case does have superior build quality. Magnets are stronger, case is thicker and feels higher quality compared to the ESR’s.

I’ll give this a try. The Zugu case game issues with he power button on 3 M2 ipads luckily Apple replaced under warranty.

I had the Zugu on my 12.9 pro, and it was an amazing case i loved it. I am upgrading to the 13-inch m4 pro, and zugu doesn't seem to have a case yet, but ESR has this case. I wouldn't mind trying this case, but the fact that the front protector seems to not stay in place is concerning since i put my ipad in my backpack with my laptop when i travel. Is the front protector really as loose as you say?

I dont think you'd have any issues with it just being in your bag. the screen cover won't be shifting around that much. I just wanted to be thorough and go over every tiny thing.

@@Pellycanfish sorry, the iPad cannot directly connect to the folio. You would need to use the case for the folio.

It does not. You would need to put it inside the case first to attach to the folio.

@@JimmyLamStudio thank you so much, but I have something very similar to parblo but wooden. it works just as parblo but I look for something very flexible and durable. like a cushion :) I will make one for myself if I coudn't find one and it seems like that what's gonna happen, probably :)

The only downside of this iPad case is Weight. It’s a bit heavy to carry around.

I went to your link to buy but it says it’s not compatible with my 2020 4th generation.. Looks like everything matches up correctly 😕 idk

I believe the 4th gen is like 0.5mm thinner than the 5th and 6th gen. You could probably use it just fine but it probably wouldn’t be as airtight. You can try it out. I did have a hard time getting the case on since it was so snug already.

I believe the 3rd gen is thinner than the last 2 12.9” pros that released by like 0.5mm or something like that. I guess it could fit inside, idk how loose that would be. The case was a type squeeze already so maybe it wouldn’t be too noticeable. Idk if the speaker holes are in different places you might have to check that out.

It is ESR’s folio case amzn.to/4cXCP3a It should be anything they label as “brilliant white” or “durable black”. All the other cheaper ones just use regular silicone.

why most cases with that shape design need to have that "leather" pattern? ;/

I do prefer it for durability as opposed to something like silicone that shows sign of ware pretty quickly.

I would stick with the Zugu when it’s out. The ESR felt a bit too bulky and heavy with the M4, while when I took a combined weight of my 2018 11” iPad Pro, with its Zugu, it came out way lighter. Weight and bulk matters a lot. With the new M4 being thinner and lighter, the added bulk and weight of the ESR would defeat the very purpose.

Seems Amazon reviews state the new Zugu for the M4 11 inch version have weaker magnets compared to previous gen’s and also material peeling from the case after a week of use. :( I was waiting for the Zugu too but may be going ESR
