Essenger known for his forays into EDM and Rock fusions and Cryoshell, known for their Symphonic Rock contributions to the Bionicle franchise have united to drop the epic "As Above, So Below." With Cryoshell's lead vocalist Christine Lorentzen's haunting vocals intertwining with Essenger's with thought provoking lyrics the track explores the unique world scarred by devastation and ruin.

Those were the days... picture this: you finally got your parents to call the office (the day of) so you could get a pass to ride the bus to your friend's house for a sleepover on Friday. You know, that friend with the finished basement and the cool mom who buys him whatever he wants? She picks up pizza and a couple 2 liters of soda from that super greasy but bomb ass pizza joint at the gas station. The same one that sold Pokémon cards and Viper Venom candy. You get grease all over his Tahu, Kopaka, and Onua sets, playing while you eat some 'za. You and the gang take turns playing the newest shooter game, that violent one your parents wouldn't buy even if you did have an Xbox... Halo: Combat Evolved. You play until well past midnight, it's not a school night after all, but change it over to Aqua Teen Hunger Force after the level 343 Guilty Spark (spooky). You bust out the GBCs and fire up some Gen II Pokémon, before falling asleep at 4AM. You get up at 9AM and eat Apple Jacks and Cookie Crisp while watching the end of Pokémon 2000 and a couple episodes of Jackie Chan Adventures on Kids' WB. Finally, you head out onto the block, the whole weekend ahead of you for shenanigans.

I miss Bionicle so much! This song reminds me of the Bionicle commercials I would see as a kid! I miss taking my Bionicle apart and making robots of my own! Yes, some pieces were cracked and/or missing, but I had so much fun with them!

You found a really good place in the plot to pick a song from if I'm to assume this draws parallels to the Great Spirit takeover, if feels plucked right out of the tail end of 2008. Had to double take when I heard this in the BMOP trailer, like "Did they really get Cryoshell in on this??", even the death metal screaming which I admittedly found pretty funny isn't unfounded considering the rapping in Creeping in My Soul. Congrats on the crossover

Can anyone post the full lyrics? Also, I am currently rediscovering a largely forgotten part of my childhood, I kind of stopped checking on Bionicle once the "prequal era" starring Vakama started, after learned about the scope of Makuta's true plan(taking over mata nui's body), well, that was quite the finale. It's a shame that they canceled the true final story arc, involving the great beings coming back and refusing to see the matoran and other Bionicles as anything more than machines, and Mata Nui having to convince them that they've long since become something more.

An amazing song! Essenger killing it with his vocals! My only complaint is that Cryoshell's vocals dosen't fit that well, even with the echo. It doesn't sound clean enough in a way.
