Hey Doddy! Rode this weekend and shoved a few cable ties in my bag just in case, about a third of the way through the ride, my friend calls us to stop and had ended up busting off the control unit for her suspension system, #boomcabletie moment and we fixed it up and rode a bunch more flowwy miles without issue!! Keep up the great work!

I don't understand why people don't like to use the screw-on valve caps. They protect the valve which is as you said "quite delicate" and can get all gunked up.

6:04 tip for aligning cockpit, use a colouring pencil to mark the position. but for the stem I haven't needed to tighten it, since I switched to Renthal, with other stems I had to check regularly and it was often too loose. I but Loctite on almost every thread on my bike, but brakes and grips are quite common to loosen, I use RevGrips, Shimano Deore m6000 brakes, Loctite definitely help, but not endlessly of course. construction and material and the abuse it goes trough matters a lot.

4:39 I use Loctite 243, and use pliers to tighten it, but one time it came loose and I dented a rim, which I fixed later, but Cush core is on the way, so hopefully that never happens. but I got spare wheelset, so no problem. I haven't tried stronger Loctite yet. But I should have checked it more often, I check everything on my bike quite often, I go over it after every ride, but stuff happens anyway.

8:43 or the brake came with too little fluid/oil, my Shimano rear brakes did, but fixed that easely, bleed block and added oil. now it's perfect. one mistake that can be dangerous is to think every thing is perfect out of the box or mechanic did hte job properly, so important to have a good bikeshop if you dont can't do it yourself for whatever reason. I regularly check, before and after a ride. I quite often check kids bikes when I am out riding, I undid many death trap mistakes, sad to see. all parents should watch this channel, so they can have kids bikes in working order. some things I could not fix, cracked chain for example. brakes and shifters tighten at crazy high torque is quite common on kids bikes, sadd I saw boy with brake levers that were like hooks.
