Hi everyone, this video was recorded at the rink before the ice rink was closed (I miss the rink so much😭😭. I wanted to upload it then, but sadly a couple of days after I recorded it the rink closed, and I didn’t want to upload it. I decided to upload it now because I hope the rinks will be starting to open back up soon and this video will help you guys prepare to go back to the rink! I hope all of you guys are staying safe during this time, and soon we will all be back to skating!

I think one thing I use that probably will be useful is clear hockey tape. I use it to secure my skates when I practice and compete. Hope that helps!

Y'all seriously, buy blades lightly used if possible. This means they have about 4 to 5 sharpenings on them max and they will be so much cheaper and in almost new condition.

I only rlly take my skates, guards, soakers and a towel to the rink and I've been wondering if I'm perhaps missing out on some equipment since people carry in bags full of stuff all the time, so this video has been very helpful 💕 thank you

ok ig important thing if you want to start ice skating. Go to a professional ice skating shop cause they know what is best for you. And her skates are really stiff because she is experienced but beginners should start with a bit more loose skates so their feet can get used to them. Not too loose that you're able to bend them but you should really feel stable in them.

My mom is thinking about getting my skates so this was REALLY REALLY useful!!

If you can afford it, ski base layer - thermic and compressive - are great. I just wear a light jacket for the beginning in winter - 0 outside - and after i don't need it at all. And i can't sweat in it, just my face, it's amazing. Also i've got a strong core yet i find a substantial help with my posture. It would bother me to practice without tbh The ab wheel save me a lot of time too. No need to plank during hours, great for posture and my six pack have never been that good without even doing crunch lol Thanks for all your tips, i already have most but i really need some tape now 🤔
