I find it interesting that this data shows 2 QBs, especially when 1-2 are stacked is the best. Yet, on Underdog if you draft a team with 3+ QBs, it'll have a way higher projected total than those with 2.

thought about this. projections are raw so of course if you draft 3 or 4 QBs the raw projection is through the roof even though you wont use most of those scores most weeks

I personally think there will be a lot of year to year variance based on the variability of the week 17 slate. I think the sample size on some of this is a bit small to draw sweeping conclusions. With that being said it’s all we can go on and I’ll definitely be mixing all of these strategies in my teams

Thanks Mike. I wish this would have existed last year when I first started playing. It took me a lot of drafts before I was able to develop a proper strategy to be able to compete. This would have really have helped.

this was a really great analysis, thanks. it would be interesting to look at the composition of the stacks, meaning in how many was there a qb + 1/2 wr/te/rb drafted close to adp, but then a wr/rb/te that you could get in a late round that ended up doing well above expectations. i.e. how often is it the situation when the stacks are winning, you are hitting on a low drafted player versus just drafting a stack with players drafted close to adp)

6 minutes in and your intel is very user friendly. I am stacking divisions, week 17 and teams that play each other twice during weeks 15-17. OCD and ADHD degenerate Best Baller player here... I have been hooked ever since I started playing on Underdog.....Lets Fuckin Go!!!!!

What helps a lot that people don’t talk about is if you stack is it helps your floor as well if your wr goes down then you got his replacement

I believe that stacking two was much better than 3 because the 3 stacked QBs didn’t have the elite QBs that dominated last year. If the late round QBs hit then 3 QBs stacked will have a higher rate than 2 imo

I'd really like to see if there's any correlation between advance rates and draft position. I've been doing a lot of drafting from the 12 spot and getting some great stacks but of course missing out on the elite stacks.

See that’s exactly what I was thinking. Not only do the expert drafters usually stack. But what about amount of teams that stack vs teams that did not stack. As in what is the ratio. I would imagine there are a much larger number of teams that do stack.

Ahhhh I just had an amazing start. I was 6th in a slow draft. ChAse/ Garrett Wilson / Olave all fell past their ADP. First time I saw chase make it to 6. I slept in and woke up to see Metcalf was auto drafted. I could have sworn I had Burrows in my queue for the stack. Turns out it was another slow draft I drafted chase at 2 and thats where I had burrow in the queue. Right now I am 5 picks away and burrow is still on the board 5 picks away. I might get lucky if not that was a brutal mistake. Nice now 3 more to go. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 have 0 QBs

I'm most curious about advancement rates and builds related to the small tourneys. Like if I'm just vs 12 ppl how do I change my strat to use the small shit to pay for the big shit.
