This truly is how I think redraft leagues will be won this year. Start RB/RB, then load up on WRs, taking one of that next tier of QBs in the 4th/5th round, and an upside TE if one falls to you in the 7th round and if not just grab 2 guys you like late.

Traditionally I've always taken RB/RB but this year I think it should go QB/RB/WR then alternating RB and WR down to where you want to take TE

@@TheFirm. I think you have to look at opportunity cost with those top 3 QBs. I mean yeah if one falls to you at a bit of a value and there's no one you really love on the board, pull the trigger. I would personally rather draft a guy who has league winning upside at RB and take a Lamar, Fields, Herbert in the 4th/5th, whose mean might be 85-90% of the top 3 guys but there's a very realistic case for them finishing QB1.

Mason, how do I apply these concepts in a dynasty SF startup with 3 flex spots? Similar to underdog philosophy since you can theoretically start 5 WR and drafting a WR7 that becomes a WR3 is still valuable there?

I've done 100 mock drafts and when I have taken two stud WRs Rounds 1 and 2 I find my RBs to be heavily deficient. I had a draft (12 team) starting with Tyreke, Garrett Wilson, and Olave which was awesome but I had to pass on Ridley and Moore because I had no RBs and my flex was filled.....

Does this only apply depending on where you’re drafting from? I’m drafting from the 9th spot in a 12 team full ppr and I can get guys like Barkley and Henry/chubb at the turn or I can get an elite wr and rb with the first two picks

Can you do this analysis based on position draft number (e.g. WR7 or RB 11) rather than what round they were drafted in? I think that info would be more applicable across different leagues that go WR heavy or RB heavy initially in the draft.

I think you need to normalize this by the ratio of running backs vs wide receivers taken in those rounds. Bc if there have historically been more running backs taken in the first round, and it’s only a sample of like 60 players, seems like a really weak stat to build your whole strat around

Why don't you love your Rb's. For picking those wr's your rb room is great. Your rb's won't play like middle round picks. Gibbs in the 3rd or 4th is such a steel. What are your lineup requirements

Every time he picks his favorite rival it’s one that I have in a lot of tickets. Looks like easy money, As much as I like London to get more TDs than Gallup especially with cooks being in Dallas this year. I love London over 850.5 rec yards. He stays healthy he is going over 850 yards. I think my favorite out of all of them was St Brown over 5.0 TDs. It’s at 5.5 now, 5 flat was a steal. Just adds that push possibility.

Watson in the 18th. He was a top 9 wr from weeks 10 to 18. Players don't fall into those numbers. That Amon value is good too. If you need fantasy advice on who to start week to week or on a bye. I would follow the Fantasy Football show. He is the only fantasy analyst that allows people to call into his show and get fantasy advice straight from his mouth. { He goes live Monday through Friday at 8 PM ET. Smitty also drafts Thrus-Sat at a latter time. I have won multiple leagues from his advice

I NEED HELP!! In an above average competitor 8 team league. 1 qb 3 rbs 3 wrs 1 flex 1 TE. Half ppr and 10 pt touchdowns (6 for qbs). We get 2 keepers from last years draft and my options are Garret Wilson (🔒) and hockenson or Ridley. Should I value a te more in a league like this for stick with the upside of Ridley

I would keep Wilson and Ridley. They both have crazy value on where you drafted them last year. A good way to think of keepers is how easy will it be to draft them again this year. Gwilly is going in the second and Ridley in the 5th if this is a espn league. You are not losing any high picks so you can pick any te you want early. If you need any kind of fantasy advice, I would follow the Fantasy Football Show. He is the only analyst that allows people to call into the show and get advice straight from his mouth. { He goes live Mon-Fri at 8 ET and he drafts Thru-Sat at a latter time then his regular show. Being honest I have won multiple leagues from his advice

one of the best draft strats on espn is Rd1 Bijan Rd2 Wilson Rd3 Gibbs Rd4 Olave Rd5 CWatson or Ridley Rd6 Tlaw London, Dotson, Pickens mostly goes in the 7th. Picking JT and Waddle with all the red flags idk about that. I would rather have guys with more of a floor and upside

I would go with Bijan. The Falcons were the best running team in the league by the numbers with a 5th rounder in aliger and a washed up Paterson. Bijan is the best RB prospect since Barkley. He was the RB1 in his Rookie year and the second highest scorer just behind Mahomes. What Platform are you drafting on ?

if it is espn or any other platform. I would pick Wilson Barkley Gibbs Olave Ridley I would try to mock that and see if it works. If your league is filled with sharks it may not work but keep in the back of your head

That’s why when my league mates said man you got a lotta wrs I said it’s a ppr league and we start one rb with 2 flex. And two wr.

I usually like to try to get Bijan at 10 if he is gone I like to get Barkley. I like to get a rb in the first because the wr values in the later rounds with Olave Wilson Ridley If you go this route your team would look like Rd1 Barkley or Bijan Rd2 Wilson Rd3 Olave Rd4 Gibbs Rd5 Ridley Rd6 Fields or Tlaw Rd7 Pacheco with Mckinnon latter in the draft This advice is great for espn but it can stand for almost every other app. Just do mocks and see what works the best other great values include Pickens, khalil herbert, And antonio gibson My favorite one is herbert because he lead all rb's in yards per carry. He goes rd12 If you have more questions on trade advice or general fantasy advice, I would watch the Fantasy Football show on yt. He is the only Fantasy Football analyst that allows people to call in and ask any question that they may have about fantasy. I have 3rd pick in a redraft league… who should I get: Hill, Kelce, Kupp or CMC?

You can call me crazy but I would take Bijan over those guys. There have been reports on how Hill has been looking slower in camp. Also there is the bad qb situation if Tua gets hurt again. In general there are alot of red flags with CMC,Kupp, and Hill. The falcons were one of the best rushing teams by the stats last year with a 5th rounder and a washed paterson. { Bijan is the best Rb prospect since Barkley. In his rookie year Barkley was the rb1 in points and the second highest scorer behind Mahomes} If you need advice on who to start on a bye or just general fantasy advice. I would follow the Fantasy Football Show. He is the only Fantasy analyst that allows people to call into the show and get advice straight from his mouth. { He goes live at 8 PM ET Monday though Friday and he drafts Thursday though Saturday at a later time
