I never fully trusted the streamer recovery. I would always add a recovery chute instead. How long have you been flying?

30 plus years. Streamers are great foentiny birds like this.

@@modelrockets3215 I first started in about 1976 or so. My first rocket was actually the Bandit. It used ducted ejection instead of wadding.

@@mikestanley9176loved then baffle ejection systems. I starred in early 70s till I joined the Navy Streamers were beneficial as I didn’t always have calm. Winds and launched regardless Learned the batten insulation from the attic wax great wadding. Think all or most kits today should have the baffle ejection in then.

What do you do to remove the pencil marks? Can you still see them?

A regular eraser works. Just don't go in to deep.

Nice finish. “Cheap materials” is a result of companies having their kits made in China. Just junk. ☹️. When. I see a kit on eBay - first thing I look for is MADE IN USA. Shame Estes like many other companies decider China was better - I don’t care for the quality of much coming from that company. Waiting for your next launch
