OMG! I’m a ESTP. That story about your dad wanted to move to Mexico hit my soul! I tried to move my family to Australia. My ex decided it wasn’t best idea. Amazing video you nailed so much. I’d be willing to answer any questions. I’ve been told my ability to connect to people is like a Super Power. When I’m around people I love my adrenaline is out of control.

I walk the line between ESTP/ENTP. I’m currently a physics major with minors in Economics and Data science. That has developed my ENTP tremendously. I’m usually able to realize my mistakes and pin point where I went wrong, granted I need to be alone to think and analyze. But my ESTP side….let’s see… -Intermediate piano player -black belt martial arts -join the navy (initially to be a navy SEAL but failed) -traveled the world as a sailor -been skydiving, swim with sharks, hike a volcano -played 4 sports in high school -booked a flight in 1 day to see a girl across the world What do I do now? 26 year old college student lol. Building my relationships with friends and networking out there.

This was so spot on and insightful. I cannot Express my gratitude enough. I have to be doing something that is big, important, gargantuan. My lifes motto was always, "it has to get my blood moving". Static = death to us, because it is. We require X amount of stimulation, and it not met, we get very morose and grey.

Good job 👍 boredom sabotages relationship. That was a new take. I’m a workaholic chasing the adrenaline - but its also becuz i’ve got the desk job that can get dull. Gosh - i wish i knew my type as a teenager. I would have strategized my career much more intentionally!

Very interesting and useful discussion. I get bored, and you laid out some good recommendations. I also struggle with social situations at times, if it’s not my favorite crew of adventurers gathering, and you nailed the reasons and the prescription.

I was actually researching add and adhd personalities trying to figure myself out. Ran across MBTI and chased the rabbit. Ur video is awesome and explains me so well! Hearing the stories about ur dad is exactly me. I will be sharing this with my closest friends and family to see what they have to say.

I tried software development and I used to literally yell at the top of my lungs of boredom. Of course when nobody was around, and now I'm in accounting. Why do I torture myself, because I need the money, but I'm only doing this to start my own accounting firm or make enough money to invest and travel. Whatever, I should have become a boxer or mixed martial artist, but I was too un-focus in my younger years. So, here I am. Thanks, you guys.

I thought this was a helpful podcast. Antonia's father sounds a lot like my husband. I would like to add that the boredom element is present in a lot of his thinking but it's more about moving forward than just anything that gets his adrenaline up. He's not a thrill chaser exactly but he needs to feel challenged. He does feel like he easily stagnants and although he doesn't dick with the people in his life, if he doesn't feel he's actualizing something, this manifests as amorphous dissatisfaction. He can get down in the dumps and hard on himself, more negative than usual. That can easily hurt relationships because he isn't unhappy. He's never been mean to me but he has less patience for others in this space, less patience with strangers (such as road rage), general irritation with anything slow or inefficient. We've also tried to channel this need for constant movement in his professional career and it's funny that Antonia mentions her father wanting to move to Mexico because often, out of the blue my husband mentions moving to Alaska lol.
