Brad, I have been watching your videos and have enjoyed every one of them. I am waiting for my arrival of the ETaker M2000 and the F1000 to review and after watching your videos I think it will be very good unit to have for RV/Off grid life style. Great work on all your videos and await many more.

Please kindly check for the efficiency. That is an information you shouldn’t miss. Like how much power is lost when it moves power from the 12v battery to the power station

Definitely quieter than the one from Pecron. Also costs more but that is okay. Seems slightly better, I am guessing the Etaker power station can take more than 15 to 20 amps on the charger since it provides up to 25 amps. Seems like it should work with any power station that has what looks like xt90 solar inputs. I do not remember you saying what size the connector is, but I can go back and find out.

The solar connectors are xt60 so I would think it works fine with many different power stations. Yeah I think the Etaker power station can handle 20amps or more. Thanks

Thanks for the video. Is there any chance to test again solar + alternator charging at the same time. Looks there may have some bugs in the design or handling of concurrent charging

Can the unit provide power out if connected to only solar and/or if the car input has no voltage in? Basically the unit needs to be able to provide solar power out when the car is parked and turned off or else it's pretty useless to me. The whole point of these types of units should be that they provide power from whichever source is available. There is no mention of how this works in the owner's manual, in fact one reason I'm hesitant to purchase this is because the documentation is very light on tech specs.

@@BradCagle Thanks! Maybe a more elegant way of saying it is that the unit should provide passthrough power from the solar input even when it's turned off.

A little update. I contacted ETaker and asked about the passthrough mode and they assured me that it will pass solar voltage even if the vehicle is turned off. Based on that info I went ahead and bought one and installed it in my truck yesterday. It works! With the truck powered off I get ~120 watts of solar charging, which is what I expect, and then with the truck running I get ~420 watts (with the ETaker set to 300w). I'm happy with the performance so far. BTW, I'm using this with an Ecoflow Delta 2 which only has one DC charging input, thus the need for this unit. My only gripe is that I'm not sure I trust the triggers ETaker is using to power the unit on and off. I'd much rather have an external input triggered by the ignition to power the unit on. I thought about connecting a relay inline with the power switch, and might still do that, but it appears the power switch is soldered directly to the motherboard so that makes it more difficult to hack...
