This talk is from "Enlightenment: The Direct Approach" with Adyashanti.
Adyashanti, author of Falling into Grace, True Meditation, and The End of Your World, is an American-born spiritual teacher devoted to serving the awakening of all beings. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.
Asked to teach in 1996 by his Zen teacher of 14 years, Adyashanti offers teachings that are free of any tradition or ideology. "The Truth I point to is not confined within any religious point of view, belief system, or doctrine, but is open to all and found within all." Based in California, Adyashanti lives with his wife, Mukti, Associate Teacher of Open Gate Sangha. He teaches throughout North America and Europe, offering satsangs, weekend intensives, silent retreats, and a live internet radio broadcast.
"Adyashanti" means primordial peace.

The best criteria for enlightenment would be facing some life threatening illness like cancer or Altzheimer and then see what is somebody's who deem himself enlightened behavior.

Love you Andrzej love you, ah what a honest response really I used to talk a lot about spirituality but lately found it hypocritical as one must test or go through all the rough rides life takes you to , go through all the harshness before preaching or teaching, without getting ill without taking medicine and being assured that yes it works if one is pushing that medicine down in someone throat it's blunder of a extreme nature, ah, god, please let me shut up for a long long time, love you Andrzej love you please keep slaping me off dear , love you, love you

You could not tell. Adyashanti can't tell either. Just while you talk or interact, You get a sense of where that persons is coming from. But to understand that would melt my ego.

13:04 it’s grace and there’s nothing I can do so. I’ll just wait and the ego seeking it to be in its own image. What a balancing act that is.

OK what is up with this title. You cannot seek without seeking other wise it's still seeking. Seeking is the problem. What else is there worth resting in besides you're fundamental formesless restful nature? Back in content identification? That's not peace of mind at all if you examine that thoroughly.

connor donohoe women are just another expression of this incredible vast energy that penetrates everything. Look at your belief that there is a seperation of gender and ask yourself if this can actually be true.
