The "Ethernet tethering" option is greyed out in settings even after connecting to adapter. Any solution please? I need to connect work computer using mobile internet through ethernet adapter. I have Sounce type C to RJ45 adapter

Make a video on how to connect a router from a 5g phone via Ethernet thethering because nowadays 5G is unlimited in India from jio and Airtel so I want to disconnect my fibre connection and want to use a 5G phone for internet connection. And if I turn on Hotspot on my phone it will consume a lot of battery and heat problem and it's a limit of device what can I connect from the device so a router will help with this so please make the video on this topic.

Hello. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. Please help me with an issue that I'm facing with the mobile ethernet tethering option. After i connect the ethernet cable via usb ethernet adapter, speeds in my pc only shows speeds between 500 kbps to 900 kbps. This happens only on Windows Laptops. Whereas this doesn't happen on Mac OS in whcih I see speeds touching 200 Mbps.

Routers usually are for wireless and support wifi. And this video was about sharing internet from phone to pc. You want to know if you can share internet from router to phone. There might be few routers that can do this. But I am not sure.

Incase anyone thinking if this work on consoles. This method does work for consoles. I have an xbox series x and it does work. Connection is more stable than wifi. But battery drains quickly.

Not really. It's based upon what port the other device can support. Based on that you can choose usb or Ethernet tethering.

No. It doesn't charge the phone. It depends on the phone type about how long it can last. Not sure.

Brother does it work only with Amazon basics adapter or can I use TP link adaptor also?? Reason is that on Amazon it says Amazon basics adaptor is 100 Mbps while TP link is providing similar adaptor with gigabit speed. I think it should work but just need your suggestion.
