This song gave me my Ethiopian wife. My first introduction to Ethiopia culture. I still jam to this song every chance i get because it's super special to me. When we started dating, this is one of the very first songs she played for me and i fell in love with it. It became one of my favorite Ethiopian songs. I play it in every Ethiopian holiday. I play it when I am partying with my family in Kenya. Maestro Dawit, you are forever in my heart and in my life. You've left us with so many beautiful memories. +Hizbi Natna Dawit is one of my favorite new artist! However, I would say he's second, in terms of fastest liked Tigrinya music clips, to Nahom Yohannes new song "Zeyedbti" who earned an astonishing avg. of 33,692 likes per day vs. an avg. of 27,183 for Dawit's "Wezamey" .... Who knows though, the avg. #'s could change a month, a year from now. Let's celebrate BOTH... they're certainly changing the face of Tigrinya/gna Music and equally talented. From Eritrea.
