This is not a typical passport-heavy production where the squad came out to film. I was in town for one of my best friends' weddings & thought Man let me create something. So I found a local up and upcoming filmmaker to shoot the video.
I enjoyed my time with people and culture. Most people around the world have never seen Ethiopia like this before. Learning about the raw meat, dance culture, and accommodations makes you feel so comfortable that you just feel at peace.

I am Eritrean, born & raised in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. It’s been 23 years since I left because of deportation during Ethiopia/ Eritrean war and now live in Sweden. I am so happy to see Addis flourish like a real flower because Ethiopia is powerful and very important country in the whole of Africa. And Addis is off course the capital of Africa and I’m so proud of my home city from my childhood is on the rise again surprising many. I miss you Addis even though I left in sorrow but I happy b/c Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is the king and Addis is the queen of Africa. Much love & respect from your Eritrean brother 🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷. As Salaamu Alaikum Brother from Senegal! I am glad that you are putting out invitations to your country. Of the 25 yrs that I have traveled to and from Mother Africa, about 15 of those years were to and from Senegal and the Gambia. My last time there was in 2021. My Gambian wife of nearly 7 yrs is here with me now. But in 2018 we spend the month of Ramadan together in Dakar. And in 2016 my second visit to Goree Island was the first day of Ramadan. I want to suggest that when inviting the diaspora to Senegal that you use Goree Island as a draw, because those of us who are descendants of Enslaved Africans in the West are naturally interested in seeing where our ancestors were brought from. And as recently as last weekend I had to explain to some brothers and sisters that Ghana is not the only place where you can find "The Door of No Return". I actually showed them photos of myself standing in "The Door of No Return" at Goree Island in 2006 when I first visited the island. I also shared with them photos from the village of Juffureh and Kunta Kinte island in The Gambia from a visit there in 2007, because most of the diaspora are familiar with the story of Roots and the enslaved African, Kunta Kinte. Just a suggestion. Peace! As Salaamu Alaikum!!

So much for black people being given Christianity. Ethiopia was a Christian nation 200 years before almost all of Europe. We are a growing nation and the the guy in the clip said, everything is done by us. Europeans did not build for us. I love Ethiopia. I don't comment on every video of the Country just for the sake up it. Everyone who creates content about this place shares the same enthusiasm as I do. If you've never been, and will get the opportunity, please visit. The people will welcome you like an extended family member. I promise

As a black American, i LOVE my deep African roots that spreads throughout the earth , so natural, mama Africa, ths land flowing with milk & honey, the land mentioned in the holy bible many many times. The birthplace of creation with Adam & Eve in the garden of Eden, every animal's birthplace, Africa which had every piece of land on earth once connected to her before the plates shifted & lands spread further away, but Africa still remains in the center of the earth , sense the beginning of time ...love To you Motherland & my People worldwide

Wow...this was well put together. Good job!!! I've always wanted to visit Ethiopia, and now this makes me want to get there sooner. I had lots of Ethiopian and Eritrean friends in college and I enjoyed experiencing their culture with them. I'm also from Africa (Sierra Leone). Like some of your friends you mentioned in this video, after growing up in the US and achieving the "American Dream" I relocated back to my native country two years ago to add value. With that I acquired a farm, expanding my fashion brand, and also doing business consulting. I love watching segments like these and knowing there are more like me making our mark in our countries and contributing to Mama Africa overall.💞

Big up and much respect to you, it was wonderful to see this. Having been fortunate to visit Ethiopia twice albeit over more than a decade ago! I did remember going to the Boston Day Spa and enjoyed watching this and going back down memory lane! Also happy to see the developments and looking forward to a future visit to Ethiopia! Well done and can't wait to see your next full episode on Ethiopia! One Love from Suriname, South America!😎
