If it was not because of non Muslims Persians, the Persian music would be disappeared in the first century after Islam because singing or playing music was forbidden for Muslims under Islamic rules. The first printing machine was brought to Persia by an Armenian years before it was introduced to Ottoman Empire. If I can communicate with you in English or French, it is because of dedication and endless efforts of an Iranian Jew who wrote the first dictionary both English and French to Farsi. By many generations including mine, the dictionary was called “Haim” which is his name. I have said all to express how I feel connected to and proud of your grandfather :)
