The roof isn’t coming off the stand in 2024. They’re taking the back part of it off but the rest, covering the seats, will remain in place until the new roof is finished after being built above the old one - this will be at the end of next season. In the next few weeks they’re also removing the original roof supports, which they’re currently building around, and re-attaching the cable net to the surrounding steel structure.

So it's slightly different regarding the cable supports when compared to the South Stand where they just incorporated them into the structure? I'd have thought they'd need to transfer the load sufficiently before they're removed

I understand City have been in talks with the other owners and management of the Co-op Live Arena with the intention in 3-5 years of entering the conventions market in conjunction with their hotel.

If its November the opening of the stand, then the pace is really low, because they expect to open the Barcelona Stadium renovation also in November but they are renovating the full stadium.

Nope, kind of similar but on the south stand they left the two existing tiers and built a third. This stand is building offf the second and putting the corporate facilities at the top of the stand not in the middle.
