She is not new to the industry. What's new is her work getting international recognition from a US audience. When most of her earlier work was for the BBC Killing Eve is for BBC America. If anything her earlier work received well deserved recognition in the UK is now being seen by a US audience who can't get enough of her after seeing Killing Eve.

So there is a third season coming. There was NO BLOOD when Villanelle shot her. Like in last scene. So she was wearing bulletproof vest. That's how I see it.

A wonderful performance from all of the actresses on this series. It's acknowledged by the golden globes,BAFTS,Emmy's that they have won for this series. It's the best Acting by a substantial margin that's ever been on our screens.😢

Liverpool gets such a bad rap at times and yet we produce music that the world loves, actors and actresses like Jodie, Rita Tushingham, Steven Graham, David Morrisey and others like Birmingham’s Dame Julie Walters who made her reputation at the Everyman theatre in Liverpool . We have playwrights such as Alan Bleasdale and Willy Russell, oh and finally one of the most successful football teams in the world , the current (for the 6th time) European Champions. Jodie is a class act and so down to earth, it’s exciting to think what she may go on to achieve in the future.

@@babs5968 Yes we with our accents are often the butt of jokes, when i first heard Jodie speak at the BAFTA awards I was really chuffed - tickles me how people from overseas get so shocked. Julie Walters went to the same Grammar school as me, she still goes to the reunions - she was 2 years above, I did not know her in school, when she did the film Educating Rita I knew then we had another Judy Dench, I see that in Jodie. I am proud of my accent to be born a Scouser or a Brummie is a wonderful thing xxx

@@BEVERLEYLREES I appreciate your comments, though I disagree. The Liverpool accent and Liverpool in general doesn't get torn to pieces like it once did. A new generation has grown and travelled and is more welcoming. I am just old enough to recall the negativity aimed at Liverpool. I recall hearing of it in the media. I think it's generational. Those born after 1980, I believe, are much clued up. I can imagine many younger people have not heard of Willy Russel and Alan Bleasdale. The UK is full of every language and accent. It's a melting pot. People have moved on. It's all good.
