Jodie is awesome ... but she's not the real thing yet. Her so-called "Liverpool" accent betrays her acting shortcomings.
@MatthewMobscene4 жыл бұрын
You're talking like the role itself didn't have anything to do with it. Villanelle is by default a more interesting character and therefore easier to play and make appealing to people. Eve is not as interesting yet Sandra managed to breathe so much personality into her. I'm not saying Jodie isn't a great actress, she deserves the Emmy, but I don't think she'd shine nearly as much if she played a role like Sandra's so don't make those comparisons.
@sethjohnson27434 жыл бұрын
Mateja Savic I think it is very possible to hit off the mark when portraying a psychopath, and Jodie does this with such simultaneous delicacy and vigor and that’s what makes her performance in another league.

Yes finally im so proud of her! As a fellow scouser and she lives near me in childwall just love her so much and i love that shes kept her scouse accent and not conformed to being all lovey and speaking with a plum in her mouth! An Emmy well deserved on talent finally and not bought!!!!!!!!!!!

Woow, you are a real lucky guy! Millions of people would dream of living near her. And you have an opportunity to see her at least sometimes. But most likely she is almost never at home.
