Nice one. You can use forklift ignition. It has 4 positions (left accesories, center is 0, first right is accesories again and full right is momentary start) so when you start truck it’s normal (right and momentary start) but when turn off truck then position key to full left and to center. Hope I explain it clearly. I build different version of that 😁

How did you connect the horn to the game?

I unplugged 4 wires from little board from one of the sides of the 3 buttons on the steering wheel, I do not remember exactly but I think white is a minus and one of the pluses no matter who connected to the horn button.

Really cool rig you got going there. A question though about the ignition. I have also a 3-way ignition switch I bought from ebay hooked up to an arduino leonardo. The small issue is that in ETS2, ATS etc, the game needs a button press like a pulse but on ignition switches, when you turn the key the contact closes and stays closed continiously pressing the button. To solve this, I just wired up the two states before the "starter" button in parallel so they cancel each other out in a key rotation. It doesn't work great tho. Unfortunatelly, I'm not a programmer and I have zero knowledge about programming arduinos except for changing a little the scripts to accomodate for more inputs etc. On the subject of change state detection or edge detection I haven't found anything useful. What's your solution in this?

If you have 3 positions key you need to wire only 3 pin instead of 4. + to batt. second + to starter both - to grnd. On your board wire them to normal buttons. In game settings that's tricky. Set your key position 0 choose ignition in game settings and turn your key one position and back. For start engine first turn your key to position 1 (ignition) then click on start engine and turn your key to top end (2nd position) and back. In game setting unclick as well start engine with ignition. I hope I could help you somehow

Cool! Is that an adapted wheelrim for the g27 or is it all homemade?. Looks nice. I use Sim dashboard but there is just not enough room between the base and rim. This is the solution I was looking for :-)

Just download the simdashboars in your device than setup. I'm using it on 3 devices which 2 is USB connected and last one via WiFi.
