It's definitely worth it! I've learned tons thus far and highly encourage anyone looking to improve their shops, to sign up and apply for an audit! Just don't be afraid to reassess what you're doing and be receptive to making changes.

You could also use a laptop as a demo. A lot of people put decals on their laptops.

Yep, I thought it was a rectangular blue and white decal. I’d not only place it on a car but also a laptop, tumbler, and perhaps a reptile tank. Or, just on a black sheet of paper/background and place relevant lizardy items next to it. Why does it say “name” under the lizard? I didn’t see a name on the sticker itself. Maybe I missed that part? Anywho, you’re gonna rock it!

Have been digging into your recent a videos and appreciate the information… would love your suggestion on how to get CPC down? Even in listings with 1.5-2%+ CTR’s and conversion rates at 3% or better I’m getting click costs of closer to 50 cents on most - the absolute cheapest I’ve found is .38 cents in one listing, with the majority of the others in the .48-.53 CPC range This is also across a number of listings that have been running for some time - the most spent listing is up to 27k views with 261 clicks and 8 sales Thanks in advance for any tips!

Keep the first picture with the blue and add some depth you can do this in Canva under shadows, and add some text clarifying that the blue is the backing and point out the detail in the text using arrows to show it add this as a more detailed informative listing as the second listing and I would agree to use the zoomed-in version for your first picture. If you have a lot of listings like the blue one you can set up a template in Canva to make the workflow faster. Just a suggestion Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't use Canva, but I have built a template up in Illustrator so I can import my decals and have everything scaled correctly. It will be a process, but I've already been modifying the more popular listings!

I know how to look up how many clicks and how many views I got, but I did not know that you could deal further into it to see other keywords that might be appropriate for your listings or keywords that might not be appropriate at all or things you should subtract that aren’t relevant to what you’re selling. Also, when I started my ads like probably most people do I spent about three dollars a day had 200 products for sale and was running their ads across all 200 listings. I did cut way way back recently but I still had a lot maybe like 25 or 30 then I cut back to 15 after watching you guys today I’m cutting back even further@@brandcreators

Etsy says that turning off keywords doesn’t actually change anything. What is your take on that?

What etsy says is that it's in testing (which...like their beta analytics...has been in testing for years). Even if it doesn't completely kill the ability to show for a keyword (because of variations etc), it makes a HUGE difference in spending on the right things.

So, I ended up turning off a BUNCH of my keywords under my ads after this session was originally filmed. The ads were all my top viewed items. I cannot say for certain if turning off the unrelated keywords helped, however I did see an uptick of purchases within a week and a half of doing this. It could be a complete coincidence, but it might have helped. To be fair, I did update some of the titles as well. One thing I 100% have noticed is that I am not spending nearly as much and have finally seen my revenue from ad spend exceed my spend. So, all things considered, at least my ads are being more effective.
