We went to a couple of the Benson & Hedges Blues Fest back in the 80's. I was blessed to have seen Etta a couple of times, & one of them was with Dr John doing this. Adele said in an interview that when she was coming up she heard an Etta James album and it totally changed her style of singing and writing. There was something in Etta James voice that showed her just what was possible for her to do and BOY! did it work!!!
