I just love love to hear the soul truth and the understanding. And yes I've been there and I love it. I want to continue to hear it. Makes you understand where you been and where you going

I would rather be dancing a slow dance to her wonderful song. It’s her song! Not a fast crazy dance like they are doing! RIP Etta!

Probably one of the best live performances. What a lineup of all-time talent, soul, and hard work. People muse about changing the future dramatically with time travel, me? You'd find me in the 3rd row, 3 beers in and never wanting to leave. Love you Etta!

I have an empty spot in my heart because I always dreamed of hearing her and Otis live, and I never got that chance. I feel like I am not complete. Every time I here it brings sadness to my heart. I would have given anything just to see her. She is just the greatest. Listening in 2024 until death.

I have always loved this. When I saw/heard Beth Hart and Jeff Beck do this to honor Buddy at the Kennedy Awards it completely kicked my ass. Thanks and love to all.

Saw her many time in a small Oakland nightclub - Mr. Broadways- sat in a small table in the front, she would drop to her knees and sing to us. I was a 17 year old white girl in an all black nightclub 1968..she was so special..

When you hear the music of female vocalists such as Aretha Franklin, Lydia Pence, Janis Joplin, they ALL have ONE thing in common, they were influenced by the late Etta James!!...Of the four, ONLY is STill Standing.... Lydia Pence....She was the lead vocalist of "Cold Blood" which came out of the Bay area of California along with Sly Stone and his group and many more etc...
