In this video titled EU4 A to Z - CAN I DEFEAT COALLITIONS As THE WEAKEST HRE Nation I do a playthrough as Baden in Europa Universalis 4 1.32 Origins. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Baden, attempt to form the nation of Swabia and I attempt to not lose anything while fighting coallitions! So let's see if I managed to do it! I'd argue Bregenz is worse. You're an Austrian nation surrounded by other culture nations, with 2 Free Cities bordering you, and Augsburg is the only neighbor that isn't bigger than you.

As Bahmanis, go for the Tale of Two Families, form Deccan, kill Vijayanagar, and then realize too late that you can't get the achievement of you form a nation

Bahmanis is claiming to be successor of Persian empires (persian was official language), there is some truth to this, so maybe road to form Persia/Mughals as them? or even going back to Zoroastrian, there is achievement for that too with province in India needed.

I have a goal for bohemia. Have 50 nations with the hussite faith (become tier 5 defender of the faith) i just would like to see the hussite faith dominant in europe :))

Reminds me of my last Bohemia game, where I basically owned all of Eastern Europe through PUs, destroyed the HRE, and almost completely replaced Catholicism and Protestantism with Hussite- all while personally owning no land outside of Bohemia, Silesia, and Slovakia. It was glorious

Just a quick tip, a "perfect composition" like you said at the end would either be 4 cav or 0. Having 2 cavalry doesn't make much impact. If you do want them (with no cav bonuses) 4 is ideal or you can just not use cav since they're expensive.

You should look into missions next time you play swabian nation. They allow you to inherit all your swabian allies (so pretty much every swabian nation) once you have 8 provinces including breisgau and sundgau, so its best to ally france and someone else to help you with austria when they're at war with burgundy.

Interestingly enough about your trip to Bran Castle. It was actually garrisoned by English Soldiers. So yes, I guess tourism did exist back then! They must have been going to visit Dracula!

Fun fact, contrary to what everyone will think, Metz is pronounced Mess. They changed the pronounciation five hundred years ago, but no one changed the spelling XD

Lol I just just finished my own Baden game! Stopping the coalitions as them is such a pain. But fun hard start. Edit: curious if you form Swabia. Much better ideas and a mission tree. That was the only way I could play them.

idk, as soon as you're Swabia, you can actually build into one hell of a strong nation if you play tall-ish. I also really liked taking Espionage ideas to get a shitload of AE-reduction, so I can conquer without any trouble with AE in HRE and makes claim quickly. One of the rare times I found it a really strong idea group.

I have a question When I play like Castile and I do colonies in Colombia and I have the claim with tordesillas. Why does Portugal (personal union) make colonies there? By integrating it, I have two Colombians and something ugly remains. Is there a way for their colonies to merge with mine?
