In this video titled EU4 A to Z - CAN I FORM Iceland To Make An ICEBERG As Berg I do a playthrough as Berg in Europa Universalis 4 1.32 Origins. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Berg, attempt to form Westphalia, then conquer Iceland, then form Iceland, all while winning the war of the protestant league. Funfact: the counts of Berg used to live in a place known as "Schloß Burg" which roughly translates to "castle castle" (later rulers lived in Düsseldorf but while the name persisted the ruling family of Berg died out pretty quickly) Also Berg is mountain in German (iceberg is just Eisberg though) and that actually led to a common misconception on the name of the modern region "bergisches land" (bergian land?) being "bergiges land" (hilly/mountainous land)

I love your Videos,I love this series and this Video in Particular. However as Berg Veteran it was somewhat a Pain to see your First steps. Here is why: 1:As Berg you want to RM Burrgundy Day one and Austria Day 2. 2: You want attack Cologne first. 90% of the Times they will only ally Dortmund together. You take Dortmund and Cologne. 2 CoT together with your Bonus of 10% Provincial Tradepower makes you the Strongest Power in the Rhineland Tradenode. Just Nitpicking from a Berg Veteran here still love your Videos.ANd this Video is still Pretty great.

Icelandic history is actually pretty interesting. Iceland was once inhabitated by anarchic people Who got away from the opressive scandinavian kingdoms, but then they destroyed the forests of iceland, so they couldnt make boats and tools, so they were easely conquered by norway.

I don't quite see this as a success, look, you ceased to be a -berg when you formed "dumbsphalia" instead of reamining a chadberg, secondly, you didn't have the city berg to be an ice-berg, rather you are an ince-julich-phalia? Now, seriously, it was really fun to see man! As for the long-named nation, i see its ideas are focused on naval-pirate ones, so why not doing Pirates of the Indic achievement? form Libertatia and become the mayor spoiler of riches in the southern hemisphere by setting the goal of getting some thousands of income just by privateering? idk if it is too ambitious tho

Maybe try to conquer Arakan as Betsimisaraka? (Betsimisarakan). I think it would be a fun challenge that shouldn't take too too long to do (especially if you colonise the island that's nearby)

I remember i was playing Köln and achieved to make it into westphalia into prussia into germany. I was really excited cause i'm really bad at the game (smooth brain :p) and it was my first playthrough where i actually achieved something :D

I know you only have so much time to do these challenges and so on but hear me out What you could have done is flip to Lower Saxon, form Hannover, get the PU over England and then use England to beat up Denmark / Norway / etc Your way was obviously much better and more entertaining, but I feel my way has more YOLO energy lol Another great video of course tho Mr Hawk ^^
