In this video titled EU4 A to Z - Forming POLAND as BRANDENBURG Is The NEW META I do a playthrough as Brandenburg in Europa Universalis 4 1.32 Origins. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Brandenburg, and I attempt to not form Prussia and instead I try to form Poland! So let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. 2 things to remember from this video: 1. Leave the emperorship to Austria, at least until the Burgundy-Liege war and the Burgundian succesion war end 2. Don’t mess with Ulm

I feel like if you're forced to give up territory after a coalition war it should automatically reduce AE and adjust anyone in a secondary coalition to exit if you're low enough. this dogpile after dogpile well after your already down seems overkill

@@gray15780 Obviously it does NOT reduce AE in proportion. Do you know how we know that? Because after losing all of his vassals and all of his lands to the point where he had his starting borders, he was still the target of a coalition.

I've 2k hours and I've never played as Brandenburg. Pretty sure the only reason I've so many hours is because my old computer was slow.

It's honestly not too bad. Once you deal with the Poland taking the land you need, usually by allying them, it's pretty chill. Usually after I get the land I need I sit there and take land occasionally but usually sit and dev lol

@@evilcatghost307 I did form Prussia once as the Teutonic Order, and all of Europe turned into a massive Battle Royale. I also got a PU over Spain during that game, so it probably could've turned into a World Conquest if I actually finished it.

Btw, it is pronounced as “be-la-O-zi-ro” or close to that, difficult to use latin letters for russian sounds. You do you as you wish, of course, just wanted to share this small bit of native speaker knowledge.

I'm pretty sure the issue was the AE from taking the burgundy PU, and not even the liege burgundy war. Hilarious disaster either way.

Currently going through a campaign where I've started as Poland, am going to transition into Prussia, then flip back to Poland(keeping Prussia ideas) then form the Commonwealth Then WORLD DOMINATION.

Just a tip, when you wanna to surrender dont click unconditionally surrender. Just go to your peace deal and offer something. They normally take less "WS" in this scenario.

Love your videos, but I don't think the transfer vassalage was the right move with bohemia in paying 400 Diplo points to save 24 AE and that's just for the peace deal. Idk if it's a bug or something but how is it less Diplo points to vassalize Bohemia than it is one of it's Vassals. 200 points per is wack.

The easiest way to get out of a coalition war as emperor is to repeal a reform for 100 war score I do it every time I take Burgundy as Brandenburg

I always revoke the HRE Reform when losing a coalition war as it takes 100% war score and I lose 0 land :)

In your war against burgundy, while you enforced union, you should have forced burgundy to release some nations. That would have reduced ae slightly

I don't have an idea for Bregenz, but I have an idea for Dortmund because in Germany Dortmund is best known for its football/soccer club. Own all provinces of football/soccer clubs that have won the Champions League (Provence, München, Dortmund, Milan, Turin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Lancashire, London, München). If you want to make it harder include the predecessor of the Champions League.

I'm kinda happy that the challenge were not successful. As a real resident of Brandenburg I refuse to be polish or to go to form Poland as Brandenburg. There are really only 4 ways to go as Brandenburg. Prussia, Germany, HRE & Prussia into Russia (just ingame) nothing else will be accepted. :D

Hey Hawk, awesome video, I want to do a crazy game and maybe you can help me with some tips as it will be hard, I want to start off as Wallachia, culture flip to prussian or saxon and let the rebels convert my religion and form Prussia by tech 10, then culture flip back to romanian and form Romania with prussian ideas and become the Balkan Space Marines, any small tips?
