Great question! Right now, HomeKit doesn't support robot vacuums. That said! Apple does support Matter and the new Matter 1.2 update that is coming soon *does* include support for robot vacuums. Once Matter 1.2 is released, it is possible that eufy could update its existing products with support. This isn't at all confirmed though so we'll have to wait and see which ones end up being supported!

I think this is the best mopping one that I've personally tested so far. There are other ones I like, but that downward pressure makes a difference with things like salt or dirt like my dogs track in!

Totally fair. Frankly, take any content online that earns money through affiliate means with a grain of salt. Will the audience believe/trust me when i say that? we're leaning into just doing more overviews and unboxing-types instead of reviews in the future. I think as long as you're honest and you have a history of building trust with your audience, they can make the decision if the content is fair. @@AppleInsider the one that really irked me, was all the smart home channels I follow releasing sponsored Aqara videos around thanksgiving basically going the same scheme. Honestly that made me very much question the near term purchases of their product line I was planning. My cart has sat ever since because of my displeasure and hesitation now.

@@ecoheliguy Which part put you off about that? Sometimes these brands will have a marketing budget for a certain time frame and they do these pushes across multiple channels at once to increase their visibility. If you've following HomeKit Insider podcast at all, we've talked about Aqara for the longest time and I do use a bunch of their gear -- regardless of the sponsorship. If you have any questions about them let me know and I'll happily answer open and honestly.

I'm a huge proponent of the smart home and this is a sentiment I so strongly disagree with. First -- I'm not gen Z. Not like that matters. I see nothing wrong with find a better, smarter way to tackle such an necessarily repetitive task. Personally, I work a full time job, have a one year old child at home around the clock, have family I have to help take care of, and have a bevy of pets to take care of. Between the dogs, cats, and bunnies, we end up with a lot of dust and dirty floors. I'd spend 20 minutes every day just vacuuming and mopping this place. OR, I can get a smart vacuum and mop like the eufy Clean X9 Pro that can take that task away from me. That's more than two hours of my life every week that I can spend working and earning more money or spending time with my child or family. That's easily worth the cost. A robotic vacuum isn't for everyone though. If you prefer cleaning, have someone who cleans you house for you, or you just don't clean often, then there's no reason to shell out for such a product. That's ok though and hopefully I have some other reviews of other great products that more suit your needs!

I agree Andrew. Gen X here with a home of 2,500 sqft with all dark wood floors and a black Labrador. It’s very useful to have an ( iRobot, sorry 😉) to pick the hair a couple of times a week.
