This might be perfect for my backyard that I want to keep an eye on, as it's a walk-out base. By the timing of this video, I'm guessing you didn't get to test it out for its winter worthiness yet? It'd be nice if you can post an update. As always thanks for the detailed video showing all the nooks and crannies!

Hey Spartan-mh7im, yea this would actually be great for a backyard too. I'll share my thoughts about how it fares in the winter, but I have it at my front door, which has a roof over the entry way, so it will not be subject to ice and snow sitting on top of it, just cold windy days and negative 20 to 30 degrees 😉

Hi, great video thanks! I was wondering about this light and putting it in the backyard. I would have to mount it 11 feet high. How much distance do you think I would loose in the visibility closest to the wall?

I'm not too sure because mine is mounted in a covered entryway so I can't readily test the light fall off range. Is there a way to have the light stay on if needed? i.e without motion activation.

Yep, absolutely. I have mine set up to be always on from 12 pm to 6 am every day. You can also set it from dusk to dawn and it'll check the sunset and sunrise in you area and adjust accordingly.

Does this s100 do facial recognition once it's connected to HomeBase 3? I know that it can do human but I want to make sure that it can do facial recognition before buying it.

Hi @zuzanasekerakova3679 can you go into the live video view of the Wall Light camera, then if you see the Alarm option enabled, try to tap it to see if that disables it. If it doesn't, then you will have to contact Eufy support at Eufy.com. You can also try to restart the device to see if that helps. Let me know how it goes.
