Still have it up, zero issues with rain and we've had a couple of storms recently. I do have a bit of an overhang above it from my roof which protects it from light rain and drizzle, but it was also subject to high winds and rainstorms without issues.

Which area do you have an issue with it? I haven't experienced any crashes with mine, but I do wish they had desktop software too so I could monitor it on my laptop without using their online web dashboard.

Are you connected to a 2.4 Ghz WiFi band? If you are, you might have to contact Blink support to see what else they recommend if it isn't connecting. Sometimes the order that you add devices in the Blink app matters.

Yea it's been solid and reliable so far. I think their 7i laptops are just as good though from what I've heard and cost a little less too.

It's still 25 FPS at night.

@@ericcervantes7376 Oh understood. I think you have to use the option at the top right to export it as a TXT file, then modify it from there then. Might be worth a shot to contact HiDock support about it because it seems like something you should be able to do natively in the dashboard without having to export as a TXT file to edit.

Yes they return to a preset default position after a certain time. If you had enough cameras, like 3 or 4, you could actually just set them to stay static if you have slight overlapping area coverage so they would never pan or tilt if you really wanted to also.

These routines are through Samsung's One UI system only, so they'll only be available on Samsung phones.

Hmm, if it's only playing out of the left side it sounds as if it is damaged. Does it only play out of the left side when it's connected to any device? Not just your phone? You can try to press and hold the "-" button and middle button at the same time for 5 seconds to clear the devices connected, then try to connect or pair again for the first time to see if that helps.

@@DarceyMarrs-Williams I would let it completely die, charge it for a few hours, then try to reset it with the steps in my previous comment. If that doesn't work, then you probably have to replace it. You can try to contact KVIDIO to see if they can help you out too or maybe offer a discount on a replacement model.

Yea it seems many eufy products don't have homekit support.

Hey @check537, likely the aggressiveness of the noise reduction algorithm will have some bearing on overall audio quality while it processes it, so the slider lets you achieve a happy medium. Also, some users may not want total voice isolation because a bit of ambient or background noise can lend to a more natural sounding conversation. I sometimes keep a fan on while I work to cool down or if my PC is rendering video and the fans are ramping up, then I'd slide it more aggressively, but if the other party reports that I'm coming through loud and clear, I may not even need to touch the slider in some cases. While some apps and services may have noise reduction, I haven't used any that are this effective at cancelling out noise and this does it bi-directionally.

Hey @kristi6083, try this "Please hold the "-" and middle button at the same time for 5 seconds to clear the devices connected." Then try to pair them back to your phone. If they won't turn on at all even after charging them for a long time, they may be dead or the battery is dead.

Hmm that's strange, what does the signal strength show in the ring app? Strong signal? Also this might sound strange, but what happens if you switch the connection to 2.4ghz on the ring doorbell? 2.4 has more range over 5, but it sounds like range shouldn't be an issue if the router is just behind the wall. You can also try to clear the ring app cache to see if that does anything. Lmk how it goes.

@@DemCrumblies so i try 2.4 is worst and signal is super perfect… i guess battery go in standby and to wake up takes long compared to to wired.. cache nothing coz is new. I order doorbell pro 2 wired better i think i will let you know how it goes compare to battery 🙏🙏🙏🙏

You will need some sort of WiFi at the rental to access the camera, but you can connect to the camera from anywhere in the world as long as there is WiFi at the rental where the camera is.

Additionally, setting up the camera with a static IP address on the router is crucial for successful RTSP/NAS support. If you encounter issues, ensure that the correct parameters are entered and consider retrying the setup. After completing the setup, if you don't see video clips, it's important to note that motion detection may be disabled during the connection testing, and it may take a few minutes for the system to upload clips to your NAS. If you experience frequent "Connection recovered" and "Connection lost" messages, these are normal occurrences and can be ignored." I also heard from others that RTSP support is limited to 1080P from what I've seen on Reddit, but haven't tried personally to confirm it.

It will easily handle both of those software. I use Photoshop daily without issue. I also use it for 4K editing, which is far more demanding than using Photoshop and it's no issue : )

Glad the hear the video was helpful : ) One thing I didn't mention in this video that I found out later is that if you use a cloud plan without the Sync Module 2, live view is only available when someone rings the doorbell. A Sync module 2 is required for pulling up live view at will.

Should be zero issues. I tested the AOSU D1 SE, which is the wired version of this in the Winter in Canada when we had a couple Winter storms, no problems.

Yep this will easily run COD at 1440P. I think there's a newer model now with 14th gen Intel and 4080 Super compared to my 4080 and 13th gen intel, but both will run it without issue. You won't hit problematic temps, but it can still get hot with hours of gaming and depending on if you're going to be running it at unlimited FPS or capped FPS, having stuff running in the background, and how far away your place your PC from a wall to ensure adequate airflow. Btw, what will the refresh rate be on your monitor? You can just try to cap your FPS to your monitor's refresh rate.

On b&h they have the i9 13900kf with rtx 4080 for $2099. I only tend to go to 240fps at max. Just wanna make sure I don’t have to worry about over heating

Hey @hongchengwu5393, some viewers have mentioned that they were able to add in an NVMe drive to the top slot by doing it very very slowly and carefully, so it is possible to do it without removing the GPU, but it will just be a more lengthy process.

I reviewed Ring's newest camera, the video doorbell pro 2, I hated it. Way too expensive, *MUST* pay monthly to even use it. It has ZERO on-board storage or the ability to insert a microSD card, so if your internet goes down, nothing is recorded, no included chime unit. The Reolink video doorbell can be used without a monthly fee, more feature packed with 24/7 continuous recording so nothing is missed and you can pull up the live view on a phone or computer. If anything is getting sent anywhere, it's Ring sending your footage online and not stored locally.

@@DemCrumblies Reolink Micro sd is inside the camera, if it's stolen so is the card. No need for chime unit as it works with you existing chime which is much , much louder. Overall Ring is much better quality and most importantly the recording doesn't go back to China.

If you're worried about the camera getting stolen along with the footage, you could pay for a monthly cloud plan like Ring & still retain local recording functionality, but at least you'd have a choice to decide if you want a monthly plan or not, and not chained any time Ring decides to increase their price. We may be comfortable with wiring, but I see viewers who are not comfortable with wiring and want an indoor chime. Every Chinese company does not send data back to China, but we are definitely being spied on by government and big tech locally like Snowden demonstrated. Recent case in point, incognito mode in Chrome.

Yea, most brands won't replace stolen hardware so that is a good guarantee from Ring, but if I do the math, the price I'd pay for a monthly Ring plan, I'd just put towards replacing my doorbell camera if it was stolen. I'm not trying to convince you though, if you're happy with Ring's hardware and pricing, it's good there's different options out there for everyone.
