Beaver Valley is absolutely beautiful at any time of year, but especially in the fall. It is a long valley with high hills and cliffs on either side, and there are 3 amazing conservation areas along the east side, and I went to 2 of them for this video:
Eugenia Falls Conservation Area - a high waterfall and a trail along a turbulent river
Hogg's Falls Conservation Area - a smaller waterfall in a woodland setting with 7 marked trails and loops
Old Baldy Conservation Area (I didn't go to this one for this video) - cliffs and lookouts with an unbelievable view of Beaver Valley
The Bruce Trail hiking trail goes down one side of the valley and up the other for more than 50 km. Hike from Old Baldy to Eugenia Falls (15 km) and from Eugenia Falls to Hogg's Falls (6.6 km).
** Eugenia Falls is closed from Nov 1 to April 30 every year
Drone flights in this video were not in the conservation areas but in Beaver Valley in general. I am a licensed drone pilot and take drone video responsibly.
If you would like more information about the Bruce Trail, I have a video called "5 Amazing Things about the Bruce Trail." It has information about what the Bruce Trail is, what to expect on the trails, how to find out where to hike and park, and what work the Bruce Trail Conservancy does. This video can be found here: • 5 Amazing Things about...
I also have a video with photos set to music about my journey hiking the entire 900 km Bruce Trail. "I Walked the Bruce Trail" can be found here: • I Walked the Bruce Trail
