The new bridges are part of the revitalization of the port area. They have actually rerouted the Don River to follow a curved path through that area and they are creating parks alongside so the river can be enjoyed by people in the city. Right now it's a lot of dirt mounds but I'm looking forward to watching the progress

It was a really beautiful day for a bike ride. The weather has suddenly become so hot, but I find I don't feel it as much when I'm on a bike. Have a great week

Yes such a beautiful marsh!

The Dunes Trail would definitely not be your choice if you don't like full sun. The Lakeshore Trail was quite nice with views of Lake Ontario and the southern loop is mostly tree-covered. The Cedar Sands trail is quite well covered through a cedar forest with views of the river, although maybe not as interesting as the Lakeshore Trail. There are a couple of other trails in the park that I didn't try out too
