When the dutch national anthem was written, germany didnt exist. The word ''duits" comes from the word diets wich means Dutch. But still, Germany and the Netherlands do share a long mutual history and I think we do share the same blood. Just keep building awesome cars and so we can keep shipping them all over the world :P

Since when did the Italian National Team sing their anthem so passionately?! Clearly not Euro 2000, cos this was the final and I see only one player (Toldo) singing (mumbling, really). Now they belt their hearts out even before a meaningless friendly against one of the smaller countries.

Amazing National anthem for amazing team, i think Holland is really most unlucky team especially this group they were play very good and they had many talent players but no luck. Football sometimes not fair.

Netherlands should have won that game and went to the final in their own country. They missed two penalties in the regulation and lost in penalty shootout... But as German I'm happy I haven't seen the Dutchs win a tournament yet 😅 I like the people from the Netherlands but in football that's a rivalry 😅 Btw. I really like both anthems. Onto great games in the future.
