I remember that day, I live in Mexico but my dad is Greek. After the game my dad was crying and receiving calls from all our family and friends from Greece.

I think that this is possibly the greatest achievement in the history of team sport. Organisation, concentration, team spirit, hard work and sheer guts. Greece DESERVED it.

Good old Childhood Memories. I and my brother watched the whole championship in 2004. The matches were broadcasted in the night in the Bangladesh Television. 2004 was the weirdest year ever Mostly because how Underdogs became Champions

Greece took from a great football nation as Portugal their home title. Congrats Greece. Portugal played 3 finals, 4 semi finals and 2 Quarter finals in last 24 years.. Won 2 major titles in Europe. Has along France the best squads in Europe and World and this lost still hurts dawm much.. But we don't criticize or are arrogant. Congrats Greece good luck, we know you don't have our talent and players in football but we wish u good luck. Hopefully u will climb to League B in Uefa Nations-league and qualify for tournaments again.

Greece is the only country who had done such a hard work to win euro 2004 . But why they didn't play good in euro 08, 12 . Euro 08- Eliminated in GS Euro 12- Eliminated in QF ( loss 2-4 against Germany ) And they didn't qualify for Euro 16. They have to improve their football team in next World Cup 2018 which is held in Russia.
