In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.

Владею кузовом е83 уже более 3 лет . Машина просто ОГОНЬ! И очень жалко на это смотреть тачка получилась очень и очень крепкой, да и динамика бодрая многим не по зубам ))

в e83 динамика бодрая если 3 литровый дизель, все остальное - тож самое что пешком.

That's not a bug, it's a feature. The car hands over a drink to the driver directly after the crash to calm and comfort him.

Totally unfair that it onlt achieved 4 stars. It was penalized because in the side impact the door opened, but in a lot of cars with 5 stars the door opens in the side crash. According to the dummy readings it had 5 stars.

@@Jameshoward999 this was a facelift model. it is possible that 2003 model had a different construction. Often with BMW.
